Norm Broken : Returning the torn bits of paper/s to its rightful

owner.
Incident:
As a usual Sunday drive back home from college, I hit the Western
Express highway and headed towards Goregaon. However, today,
since I had a movie planned, instead of taking a left towards home, I
took a right from the highway towards the Oberoi Mall. All this while,
I was constantly rattling my brain with thoughts on what I could or
could not do for the task Breaking the norm and suddenly it all
just happened I could literally see myself doing it!
After taking the right from the highway, was unusually hit by traffic
in this lane and to add more, I was stuck behind a bus ( BEST bus).
While I was pateintly waiting, I saw a hand throwing a chunk of
paper bits out of the window right in middle of the road. In my head
I knew that THIS IS IT! So, I pulled the hand break, got off the car,
walked upto the fallen trash, collected those bits of paper from the
road, got on to the divider, and threw it back to the hand ( by now I
discovered that the hand belonged to a young man) and told him to
throw it in the trash bin and if he dint know what dustbin looks like,
I could always show him one!
Did the task, got back to my car feeling accomplished and drove to
the cinema with a smile!
Feeling before I broke the norm :

Felt reluctant because I had to do it in front of so many people

and in a busy area
Was scared of the result
Was afraid that the traffic would clear and my car would
become the block
At the same time, was determined and
The force to teach the man a lesson drove me to do what I
did
Adrenaline rush building up as I got closer to the spot

Feeling after I broke the norm :

Boosted confidence

Dint believe what just happened

Couldnt conceal happiness
After receiving some positive response from people who
witnessed it ( few actually clapped, others smiled and an
autorikshaw driver next to my car signalled a thumbs up with
a bright smile!) felt a sense of responsibility
The person I gave back the bits to was perhaps shocked,
ashamed and did not say anything ( its even possible that I
never heard him)
Felt an indescribable power
The adrenaline rush that stayed for quite some time - could
literally hear my heart beat thrice as fast !!

Challenges I faced :
For me to step out of my confort zone so publicly is very difficult. I
usually avoid gaining unncessary attention from people around, so
this was a big break through. It was like I discovered a completely
new side of myself.
