industrial needs.

Dulux Metalshield is a comprehensive range of single component

products comprising anti-corrosive primers and primer finishes, hammer
finishes, and quick dry enamel topcoats complemented with spraypaks for
touch-up applications and specially formulated thinners.
Metalshield is available in, but not limited to, a wide selection
of AS2700 and Colorbond standard colours which are obtained
through our tint system.
The Metalshield Quick Dry Enamel Topcoats are unique in
that separate products have been tailored to utilise either the
Industrial Colorfast or Decorama tinters, ensuring your colour
requirements are met regardless of the tint system available.
This range has been designed to provide ease of application
whether brushing, rolling or spraying; fast turnaround and excellent
performance with an attractive finish.
Metalshield is suitable for the refurbishment, protection and decoration
of most common metal surfaces including light fabricated steelwork,
mobile plant and equipment and industrial machinery.

Premium Products
Metalshield Premium products have been specifically formulated to provide superior resistance properties against
both UV rays and high temperatures. They can be applied over conventional Metalshield alkyd primers or Dulux
Protective Coatings two component epoxy primers.
Metalshield Premium UV Resistant Enamel Topcoat is a silicone modified alkyd enamel that provides excellent
weathering properties and increased productivity when compared to standard silicone alkyd enamels and long
oil alkyds.
Metalshield Premium Industrial Aluminium offers a metallic finish with maximum brilliance and heat reflective
properties making it ideal for applications requiring temperature control and a decorative/metallic finish.

Finish Products
Metalshield Finish is ideal for providing an attractive finish to steel in mild and commercial environments.
Our fast drying general purpose alkyd enamel, Metalshield QD Enamel Topcoat, is the preferred coating where a
hard wearing, easy repair and recoat finish is required.
Metalshield Hammer Finish is a textured coating that can be applied direct to bare metal and is ideal for covering
rough or damaged surfaces.

to utilise the Decorama tint system.
When applied over suitable primers, these products provide exterior durability in an attractive high gloss finish making
it the ideal general purpose finishing coat for industrial applications/environments.

and Metalshield Finish topcoats or Dulux Protective Coatings two component topcoats.

Metalshield Self Priming Enamel Topcoat has been formulated to enable direct application to suitably prepared
steel, providing both corrosion protection and a decorative finish in one coat. It can be considered as an economical
finishing alternative or for simple refurbishing after repair.
