on Mechanical Engineering
Engineering and technology play a pivotal role in the

development of today's world. Widespread research
and innovative practices are propelling the world to a
new plateau of development. Mechanical engineering is
at the centre of this process.
The Department of Mechanical Engineering, BUET has

been arranging biennial international conference since
1995. ICME2015, Dhaka is another effort for providing a
platform for exchanging ideas, experiences, and
research works from various areas of mechanical
engineering.

VENUE
BUET, Dhaka, Bangladesh
Dhaka is the capital of the People's Republic of
Bangladesh. It was founded in 1608 AD by the Mughal
Viceroy of Bengal. Dhaka has a unique blend of old and
new architectures. BUET was established in 1962. It has
a beautiful campus with lush green lawns and
picturesque landscape in the heart of the city.

CONFERENCE LANGUAGE
The official language of the conference is English.
SUBMISSION OF ABSTRACT
The extended abstract (about 500 words) must carry
sufficient information for fair assesment and should

After provisional acceptance of the abstract, the full

paper will be peer-reviewed before its final acceptance.
The guidelines for preparing the manuscript will be
provided with the provisional acceptance of the abstract.
The manuscript not prepared as per guideline will not be
considered for review.
PRE-REGISTRATION FORM
PROCEEDINGS
The proceedings of the conference will be published in
two forms: printed book (only abstracts) and CD ROM.
Both will be available to the delegates during the
conference.
All accepted peer reviewed papers may be published by
Elsevier in the open access Journal of Procedia
Engineering subjected of payment of necessary
publication fee.
