the second and fourth Mondays of the month beginning at 7:30pm, rosary is said at
7:15pm.

and women to join the ministry of Adult Funeral Altar Servers. Servers assist the
priest during funeral liturgies. Participants must be available during the day. For

St. Augustine Mens Fellowship will meet in the School Cafeteria from 7-8:25 am on Saturday, July
25. We will continue our DVD series Decision Point by Matthew Kelly. All men of the parish and

There will be an Inquiry Night for the RCIA Monday, July 27 at 7:00 pm in the
Rectory Meeting Room. If you know someone who may be interested in growing in
their relationship with Jesus and learning about what Catholics believe, please
invite them to attend, or to call Karen at 330-745-0011 x 18. Thank you.
The next round of Euchre will be Friday, August 7 beginning at 6:30pm in the
school cafeteria.
Players of all ages are welcome to attend. Come and enjoy
an evening out with fellow parishioners.
The Ohio District Kiwanis are collecting shoes of any kind to be sent to the people
in Haiti. Shoes of all types are being collected; new, old, used, even torn and worn
out, both children and adults. There are so many people in Haiti that are getting
horrible diseases due to the fact that they do not have shoes to wear. This is a
state wide project, please do not throw shoe away. There will be a box/basket in
the vestibule for your old shoes, just tie the pairs together and place them in. Shoes will be
picked up at a later date. Thank you in advance for your help. Shoes will be collected until the
end of July.
Help the FEST come TOGETHER FEST 2015 is just a few weeks
away Sunday, August 9 from 12 noon until 10 pm. Its a day of faith--family---fun and its all for FREE. Its our 15 th Annual Cathoic Family
FESTival that takes place on the grounds of Borromeo and St. Mary
Seminary (28700 Euclid Avenue in Wickliffe). For all the details, visit

volunteers to bring The FEST to life. Be a part of a GREAT group of people who help
us create this wonderful family day for our Diocese and region.

ST. PAUL ANNUAL NURSES MASS -SAVE THE DATE! Thursday, August
13, 2015 at 7:00 p.m., is the date and time for this years Annual Nurses
Mass at St. Paul Parish, 1580 Brown St., Akron, 44301. This is a wonderful
opportunity to say Thank You to all those who work to help us heal. Once
again the Peace Together Choir will sing and Fr. Neil Kookoothe R.N.
will be here to celebrate the liturgy. A reception will follow in the Parish Activity
Center.
Can you believe, plans are already being made for the Parishes biggest
event of the year, the St. Augustine Parish Picnic Happy Days on
Sunday, August 30 beginning with the 10:30 Mass. Join fellow
parishioners as we celebrate the fifties with music, raffles, games, food,
fun and most importantly fellowship. Keep any eye on the bulletin for
more information, anyone wishing to volunteer, please contact the rectory
as soon as possible. Many hands make light work. The next picnic meeting will be
Wednesday, July 29 at, 6:30-pm in St. Augustine School Cafeteria this will be a
working meeting. Raffle tickets are still available for sale up until the picnic; our
goal is to sell 800 tickets, as of today we have sold 51. The first early bird drawing
is Sunday, July 26, this is your chance to win $100. Get your tickets in early!
You are cordially invited to a HOLY HOUR FOR PRIESTS, each Thursday
from3-4:00pm. Please join us as we pray the General Prayers for Priests,
Chaplet of Mercy, Rosary Meditations, Litany of Precious Blood and Litany of
Mary. All are invited and encouraged to attend as we pray for all priests,
deacons and religious especially Fr. David, Fr. Glaros, Fr. Mike, Deacon Adair and
Deacon Krause.

votive candle racks. Please be careful when removing plastic sleeves with melted
wax in them, do not throw them in the trash can as wax is getting on the floors and
carpet and it is very hard to remove. Please do not remove any candle that is not
completely burnt out.
Community Corner
Barberton Area Community Ministries item for the Month of July is Canned meat; tuna, beef
stew canned ravioli
Thank you again for all your support in helping us serve our brothers and sisters in need. All
donations can be placed in the bench in front of the giving tree in the vestibule of the church. Donations
are picked up on Monday mornings.
CAMP PROMISE - Akron General Hospice of Visiting Nurse Service will be serving
children in our community through Camp Promise, a four day bereavement camp for
children ages six-eleven who have experienced the death of a loved one. Camp
Promise dates are August 3-6, 2015. In addition, July 31 they will offer the second
annual one-day grief camp for teens ages twelve-sixteen.
As we know, the death of someone dear, can be devastating to a young person.
Camp Promise is a day-camp that responds to a young persons bereavement needs.
In a safe, non-threatening environment, trained bereavement professionals and
volunteers provide a process that enables young people to express his/her own grief
experience through play, drama, music, journaling & art.
For those interested, please contact Rochelle Sheppard, Camp Promise Director
at 330-668-4662, camp fills up quickly and space is limited.
Camp Christopher's September Song is an excellent choice for anyone who enjoys meeting
new people, spending time outside and making new memories. Throughout the day,
campers are offered a variety of activities from which to choose: daily Mass or prayer
services, swimming, crafts, canoeing, hiking, riding the zipline, or simply relaxing on the beach.
September Song campers can be as active or as relaxed as they choose. September Song 2015 begins
Sunday, August 16th and ends Friday, August 21st. The cost is $300 per person, which includes lodging,
