3- Tap: The tapes are manufactured of glass glass fiber having PVC
coating. They are graduated every 10 mm and figured every 100 mm.
Meter, figures are shown in red. They are convenient for measuring
shorts lengths. Figure (3) shown tape
Methodology:
1- Preparing the needed instruments
2- Student ( A) catch the first rod and stand up at the first point of distance and
student ( B) catch another at the end point, student (A) and student (B) must appear
at straight line
3- Put a nail at the beginning point and another at the end poit
4- Student (c) catch the tape and put it at the begin point in front of the nail, then he
walked until the tape finish ,the tape must be well tight
5- When the tape finish , student ( D) catch a third rod at the end tape (30m)
6- Student (B) guide student (D) to move aside movement until the three rods
appear on a straight line, then student (D) put the third nail at certain point called it
point (c) . Figure (4) shown procedure (6)
7- Student (C) catch the tape and put it at point (c), then he walked until reach the
end point the tape must be well tight ,student (c ) must record the measurement in
a field note book
8- Repeat the procedures( 4, 5, 6 , 7) again but at the other side from end point to
start point
9- Then record the measurement at procedure (8)
Distance A-B=41.15 m
Distance B-A=41.16 m
Results:
The distance between A and B is 41.155
comment:
This training was good but the tape cut in our group because we dont deal with it well
and the tap was weak
