    THE EVENT

    FORMULA STUDENT

    The competition is an international event that consists of approximately 400 teams from all
    over the world. An annual series of events take place in 13 different countries all over the
    globe. Students design, fabricate, and compete with small formula style race cars to gain
    practical real world engineering experience. Restrictions are placed on the design of the
    cars frame and engine so the students creativity, knowledge, and imagination are
    constantly challenged.
    HMR Institute of Technology and Managements MECHSONIC RACING is a student operated
    organization that has participated in the Formula SAE (Society of Automotive Engineers)
    competition in ITALY twice and plans to participate in FSAE ITALY and FS INDIA in the 2015
    formula student season.

    Vehicles are scored in two different categories:

    Static Events
    Design, Cost, Business Presentation.

    Dynamic Events
    Acceleration, Skid-pad, Autocross, Endurance and Fuel Economy.

    THE TEAM

    MECHSONIC RACING

    Mechsonic Racing is student project from HMR Institute of Technology and Management,
    GGS IP University, which is imbibed together by students from different engineering
    streams. We intend to design and fabricate a formula type race car for the Collegiate
    Design Series, organized by the Society of Automotive Engineers (SAE) worldwide.
