"Apchee!" ("Ah-choo!" in English) is a solo clown show without
words, telling the story of a clown who gets a cold and can't go
fishing like he usually loves to do. During the course of the show,
he learns how to take care of himself and get better, not without
several trials, tribulations and pratfalls along the way. The show is
full of colorful high jinks, music and physical theatre comedy, inspired
by the traditional Russian clownery, leading to a surprising and highly
amusing finale that will surely make both children and adults smile
from ear to ear.
"Ah-choo!" was selected to open the Tzavta Clown Festival in Tel Aviv
(the first-ever festival of this kind in Israel).

So I want to tell you a little about myself because I know that
everyone thinks Im a strange bird- thats an expression that my
mother uses. She sometimes uses it to explain the way people
look at someone like me what I mean like me is, like someone
different.
Mikey is a teenager with the Asperger syndrome who tries to explain
what exactly happened to the bird during recess at school which caused
everyone to distance themselves from him. Regarding the Bird is
a dynamic event that unravels and raises questions about the place
of the other in our society and the need to listen to and accept him.

Library Lion
ediatheque Theater
M
A musical play by Eli Bijaoui. Based on the book by Michelle Knudsen.
The head librarian is very particular about rules in the library; No
running allowed. And you must be quiet. But when a lion comes
to the library one day, no one is sure what to do. There aren't any
rules about lions in the library. And, as it turns out, this lion seems
very well suited to library visiting. His big feet are quiet on the library
floor. He makes a comfy backrest for the children at story hour. And he
never roars in the library, at least not anymore. But when something
terrible happens, the lion quickly comes to the rescue in the only way
he knows how.

Based on Chava Nissimov's book "A Girl from There".
An extraordinary journey of consciousness takes place inside a
cupboard that represents the soul's innermost sanctuary. This is
a journey undertaken through fragments of memory by the adult
Hava, who recalls anew, with pain and pity, what her 3 year old self
saw and experienced through the Holocaust.
Hava is presented by a solo performer who shares the stage with
life-sized puppets and dolls, animated scenes and Nisimov's own
recorded voice as she narrates her ordeal.
By combining these elements into a narrative whole, this play realigns
the child's broken spirit, as she attempts to find meaning and to gain a
foothold in the crumbling world around her.
