1.Broken Sound
This is achieved by passing from the normal reed position
to an embouchure which takes more or less reed than normal
with a movement which is more or less rapid and a graduation
of the lip and air pressure as necessary.

2. Multiphonics
Chords may contain up to five or six sounds, produced by
using a type of fingering which may be called multiphonic.
The initial result is the emission of a group of sounds.

3. Multiple trills
It is sufficient for the player to open and close one or more
fingers and/or key holes rapidly and pass from
one initial chord to another with extreme agility.

4. Quarter tones
Lip oscillations (by increasing and relaxing lip pressure)
produce fluctuations in intonation above and below the
main true pitch.
