    MUNICIPAL RESOLUTION NO. 018-2014


    ENDORSING BARANGAY RESOLUTION NOS. 1, 2 & 3 OF BARANGAY PALANAS,
    GUINOBATAN, ALBAY TO HONORABLE FERNANDO V. GONZALEZ, CONGRESSMAN OF
    THE THIRD DISATRICT OF ALBAY.
    Proponent/Sponsor:

    Honorable Councilor Frances John M. Oxales

    WHEREAS,
    this august body was in receipt of a request from the Barangay Council of
    Palanas, this municipality, to endorse their Resolution Nos. 1, 2 and 3 involving their priority
    projects, to wit: (1) Concreting of Barangay Road Phase II, (2) Rehabilitation of Electrification
    Project of Seven (7) Puroks therein, and (3) Construction of the stage at their barangay site;
    WHEREAS,
    it is one of the primordial goals of every local government, in accordance
    with their mandated functions, be it either in the barangay or municipal level, to provide their
    constituents with basic services and facilities which would pave the way for economic development
    and growth, among others;
    WHEREAS,
    this august body is one in thought and spirit with the barangay officials of
    Palanas considering that we believe that the assistance and help of the Honorable Congressman is
    indispensable, if not the only means, of realizing these humble endeavours, as the municipal
    government, as much as it feels for the needs of farmers and residents therein, does not have the
    financial capacity to provide for the same;
    WHEREFORE, in view of the foregoing premises, be it now:
    RESOLVED, as it is hereby resolved by the Sangguniang Bayan of Guinobatan, Albay in
    session assembled, to endorse as it hereby endorses Barangay Resolution Nos. 1, 2 & 3 of
    Barangay Palanas, Guinobatan, Albay to Honorable Fernando V. Gonzalez, Congressman of the
    Third District of Albay.

    RESOLVED FURTHER, that Barangay Resolution Nos. 1, 2 and 3 of Palanas are hereto
    attached and marked as Annexes A, B and C, respectively.
    RESOLVED FURTHERMORE, that a copy of this resolution be furnished the Office of the
    Third District of Albay, and such other concerned offices/agencies, for their information and
    appropriate action.
    APPROVED UNANIMOUSLY on motion of Honorable Councilor Frances John M. Oxales
    and duly seconded by the members present this 17 th day of February, 2014 during their 7 th Regular
    Session.
