    V-rings serve as axial rod seals, sealing a counterface at a right angle to prevent ingress of contaminants.

    The size of a V-ring is determined by the shaft inner diameter it needs to seal, as well as its profile dimensions like height, width etc. which vary with size.

    V-ring type A

    V-ring type A with bevel back serves as a pressure less, axial rod seal with a very short
    mounting length, which is clamped on a shaft. The exible sealing lip seals a counterface at
    a right angle to the shaft preventing dirt, dust and splash to enter the construction.
