D. Documentation:
Maintain records & copies of all documents received and issued in connection with
the project
Prepare and manage all documents for statutory approvals
E. Project Team Acquisition and Management:
Prepare and maintain up to date a directory of project participants and contacts.
Prepare detailed scopes of services for all project participants (both contractors and
consultants) as appointed to the Client
Manage the appointment of consultants required to complete the design,
procurement & construction of the project, including but not limited to:
Prequalification enquiries & interviews
Preparing & issuing requests for proposals
Receiving, opening & recording bids
Organizing post bid interviews & negotiations
Analyzing bids & preparing recommendations
Drafting & issuing letters of appointment
Drawing up & arranging execution of contracts
F. Post Completion:
Provide programming advice in respect of client migration and occupation activities
Manage completion of outstanding defects
Prepare the final financial statement
Prepare the project close out report
G. General:
Initiate & maintain liaison in order that the client is kept fully informed on the
progress of the commission and the implications of any changes
Advise the client on the implications of any instruction it may issue or be considering
issuing including changes and variations
Ensure statutory compliance throughout the project
Be aware of the work of other participants & advise on:
any apparent errors & omissions
build ability & improvements to be made in terms of cost & schedule generally
compliance with site health & safety & environmental requirements &sound
construction practice
compliance with the clients goals & requirements
Attend meetings as required to progress any aspect of the commission
Carry out work in accordance with project procedures approved by the client for use
on the project
Maintain records of all documents received and issued in connection with the project
Notify the client of any incident likely to give rise to a claim under the clients
insurance arrangements
