Achievement of Programme Educational Objectives (30)
1.3.1 Justify the academic factors involved in achievement of the PEOs (15) 1. Courses are covered as per Curriculum. (Lesson and Lab course Plan) 2. Planning and conducting In Semester Exam (ISE), Mid Semester Examination MSE) and End Semester Examination (ESE) & their evaluation for continuous evaluation process. 3. Conducting Project, Seminar, Industrial training presentation & evaluation. 4. Analysis of results of all the courses for every semester. 5. HOD and faculty discuss any concerns students have regarding their progress in course work and assessment with course co-ordinator/ Chairman. 6. Course co-ordinator designs & specifies the number and type of assessment tasks, tutorial/assignments by conducting different examination models. 7. Course co-ordinator/Chairman is available for student consultation on a regular basis for difficulty solving, informing students of their availability indicating the place & time for consultations (both with and without appointment). 8. Principal communicates effectively with all teaching staffs & HOD to ensure quality of practice. 9. Principal takes feedback of course conduction from student representative of a particular class and takes necessary actions as required. 10. Subject teacher makes & monitors question paper setting, evaluation, tabulation of grades including result declaration process for ISE and MSE exams. 11. Cluster Monitoring of every student by various faculties including HOD. 12. Expert Lectures and Seminars are organized to impart deep understanding of the various topics and upgrade students knowledge and skill. 13. Industrial Visit is also being organized so that students become familiar with industrial environment. 14. Various faculty development programmes and STTPs are arranged by each department on emerging trends and technologies for the development of students and faculties. 15. Industry interaction and training by Staff in various industries for their up-gradation.
1.3.2. Explain how administrative system helps in ensuring the achievement of
the PEOs (15) 1. Provides evaluation policy with respect to all courses/exam/events (Principal& Coordinators) 2. Provides Time-Table of lectures and lab sessions of all courses of all the semesters. (Time table committee) 3. University communications, correspondence relating to evaluation, examinations schedule course syllabi (Principal) 4. Distribution of hall tickets to eligible students for examination.(Student Section) 5. Oversees the conduction of examination both theory & lab practice.(by examination committee) 6. To keep, maintain and update all examination records for reference and submission to university.( Exam-committee) 7. Effective communications and good practice for students with respect to the provision of library services.(Library committee) 8. Book-Bank facility and access to various online journals to students.(Library committee) 9. Magazines, Non-technical books, various CDs, Competitive Examination material are provided to the students for their progress.( Library committee) 10. Students are guided, counselled for their performance improvement (All-Up committee and cluster monitors) 11. The students grievances related to faculty performance of his/her duties in an instructional setting is conducted. (Cluster monitors, HOD and finally Principal) 12. Training programmes, workshops, and technical computations are organized for students for their overall development. 13. Industrial training is provided to the students and optimised efforts are being done for their placement. (Training and Placement Committee)
