II-I.1.3 Attendance Monitoring : Reward for good attendance and penalty for poor (5)
Students attendance monitored I the First period and regularly in each period theory /Lab Classes and other classes for Seven periods / Day / for all Working Days. Attendance is monitored in Remedial / Extra Lab classes and monitored by the Heads and by administration Office. 85% Attendance is to be maintained by Every students per sem. Parents informed on continues absent of Wards. Leave letter is insisted before availing leave with prior approval of faculty / Head. Penalty imposed for unauthorized leave and for students logging less than 85% per sem. Parents summoned if the Leave periods extends more than three days. Doctor certificate is insisted for Leave on medical grounds. By rules on regulation the parents are advised about the leave rules and prior permission is insisted. Parents feedback is collected by the Heads Normally from parents visiting the institute. Some feedback are collected by sending questionnaires to parents. A standards list of questionnaires available with department. Ateast 50% of parents of various levels are used for feedback collection. Alumni feedback is normally collected on alumni day and from Alumni visiting institute and also by sending questionnaires to Alumni. Ateast 30 to 50 % of (recent and Old) alumni offer feedback. A standard list of questionnaires available with department. Industry feedback collected from Industry offering Placement/ Training/ Projects/ Consultancy for Institute. Parents / Alumni / Industry feedbacks are analyzed once a semester and discussed in the Departmental meeting and Principal meetings.
