Department will be hosting over 500
first graders from Pineville and
Albemarle Elementary schools for a
performance of Alice inWonderland
and lunch. Our goal is to collect over
1000 new Dr. Seuss books to be able
to present a book to each of these
students and to also contribute to
their classroom libraries.
Book donations, gift cards or
monetary donations to purchase
books are welcome. Students may
drop off donations in Mr. Gabbard's
classroom and others may drop
donations off in the front office.

Financial Aid Night

The Ardrey Kell Student Services Department will host
its Financial Aid Night on November 20th at 6 pm in the
auditorium. Parents and students are invited to come
hear more information about paying for college through
scholarships, grants and loans!

Naviance & College Visits

College visits at AK are open to juniors and seniors, and
each student can attend up to 5 each year. You will
receive reminder emails about upcoming college visits for
the colleges you are interested in only if those colleges
are listed in your Naviance account. Students
should keep their Naviance account updated with
colleges they are interested in to make sure they receive
these automatically generated emails.

Attention Seniors: New Transcript

Request and Payment Process
After requesting your transcripts on Naviance, please be
sure to print the "confirmation" page. Your two initial
free transcripts will automatically be deducted from the
total owed on Naviance. This "total owed" is what needs
to be paid online through the AK website. Therefore,
when you submit your payment online, please be sure to
only enter the number of transcripts needing to be paid
for (after subtracting the first two). For example, if you
are requesting 5 transcripts on Naviance, your total owed
will be $15, only enter 3 on the online payment site. Be
sure the amount owed in Naviance is the same as the
amount you are paying through the online system.
Please see your counselor with any questions.
BOTH the Naviance confirmation page and online
payment receipt need to be turned in before your
transcripts can be submitted.

Seniors have attended a Senior Assembly during

homeroom on Thursday, November 6th and received
information from Herff Jones about Graduation Caps
and Gowns. Herff Jones will be back on campus on
November 20th and 21st to begin collecting orders.
