Graduate Research Assistant, College of Technology and Innovation, Arizona State University Aug 2013 Present
Developed Hybrid electric automotive systems and power management control algorithm in MATLAB/Simulink, performed
plant, component modeling, test automation, and consulted various automotive research projects.
Performing HIL with Real-time PXI controller, published on Distributed-HIL approach; Developing automotive embedded system
Graduate Intern, Dept. of Research & Development, TAFE Motors and Tractors Ltd, India May 2013 Aug 2013
Performed inspection/service, synergized with suppliers, prepared spec sheet and layouts using Pro-E for 5660 industrial model.
Loader Dozer Analysis: Modeled assembly parts in Pro-E, developed engineering designs of Loader arm; Performed analysis on
supporting arm, and stress generation between FW and G1 assembly. Validated results using MBD and FEA on ANSYS.
Engaging Dog: Performed fatigue analysis of splined torsion shaft, calculated fatigue stress concentration at gear root.
PROJECT WORK
Performed Vehicle Hardware in the Loop (V-HIL) using chassis Dynamometer, to compare the effectiveness of ECMS (Equivalent
consumption minimization strategy) with Rule Based control algorithm over parallel through the road architecture for HEV.
Internet based Distributed Vehicle Hardware-in-the-Loop for automotive remote testing: Proposed internet based distributed
systems using Distributed Network Protocol, incorporated with Labview for performing HIL and VHIL for remote hardware.
DCR-Rule Based Strategy: Developing control algorithm in Matlab/Simulink for recognizing the drive cycle to predict the vehicle
power requirements. Objective is to stabilize the Fuel Cell power output, reduce dynamicity and observe hydrogen consumption.
Fords Open XC Android App development: Developed graphical interface program for android devices in JAVA using the Ford's
Open XC Platform for processing CAN data from the vehicle OBD 2 port to assist the driver for efficient driving.
Compressed air production using Vehicle Suspension System (VSS): Utilizing a rear suspension of a motor bike (Bajaj Pulsar),
designed a system to produce compressed air onboard working as a suspension. Prototype developed was successful in producing
48 Psi maximum pressures.
