Barriers:
Language is the biggest factor that hinders the
communication between the nurse and the patient.
It blocks the willingness of the patient to express
more what she observes.

Evaluation
The conversation done was difficult because the patient can understand Filipino but not that
much. It requires me more patience to understand what they mean. I try to go back less often for the
interview because of what I observed from the mother’s refusal from other question. The goal of
communication was not that achieve because they can’t understand some of Filipino and English
words. The interviewer’s strength is I found my way how to get the trust of the client by showing the
knowledge I learned.
