The document outlines the detailed procedure for starting up a power plant from a cold condition. It describes initializing various auxiliary systems like cooling water, condensate, and charging the boiler before synchronization.

The steps include starting the cooling water pumps, ACW pumps, setting the hotwell level and starting the condensate extraction pumps, boiler fill pumps and deaerator filling.

The steps are to line up the auxiliary steam, open specific valves to allow steam into the LT and HT headers and regulate the pressure and temperature.
