Systematization of the TEACHING
PROCESS

Introduction
This essay is going to show samples of relevant information about. What
Osmar has been doing in his Teaching Practice, How many experiences he gained
in the field of English languages, it also intends to present you how he develops his
Teaching style in collaboration with Mr. Silva a tutor Teacher at Instituto
Nacional de Jiquilisco. Also is going to present a self-reflexion about which he
considers was great experience that have opened his mind in order to continue
with the innovation in the teaching process.
The following essay is going to be developed through the next elements:
Critical Reflection
The systematization of teaching process.
E-portfolio and its application in ELT.
Use of technology in the schools or place where there is not.
- How you are going to solve the problem?
- Provide resources that you will use and the procedures.

Critical Reflection

In Salvadorans formal institutions the education has suffered the radical
transformation the famous Tics are being implementing at school the teaching
of the English language has been demanding. More and more preparedness for the
teachers is needed because we are going to making some improvements in the way
of teaching languages; it has becoming as good as private institutions are.
Nevertheless public schools are like hospital functions. In the publics sector there
are teachers who love the private sector because they do not believe in the free
education. They prefer to make their best efforts in this area because they said that
in public schools there is not progress, and I agree but not at all. As a future
teacher the country must benefit from our teaching practice.Because it supposes
that as future teacher must to benefit the country through our Teaching Practice.
After, I have been in touch with the public sector I have to make some critiques on
it. The teaching of English language is poor, for different reason, the majority of
obstacles that I observed are that there are too many activities and celebrations; the
students nor the teachers understand why they are immersed in them. It is a pity
to hear teachers and students trying to teach and learn something that they already
that they do not know or manage at all, the education have to make like a
reengineering. It is like to implementing reforms in the way of teach English
replace it, as subject and open English courses instead. Take in account that
students, who like we must create different ways of teaching to learn to speak
English language. In order to create different ways of teach the English language.
So this is my critics about how I perceived the ways of teach the English language.
As Freire maintains true reflection leads to action I intend to act through following;
After the experience live in the teaching practice I will retake those thing
that I did it wrong to correct them. I am planning to create an English Academy for
children in my Community La Noria, Municipio de Jiquilisco, Departamento de
Usulutn; I consider that, they are the best learners and they are going to teach lots
each other. I am looking for different results. So I am going to do different things,
the mirror image always keeping on my mind my own life is teaching and
learning. Finally I have done some advancement in my practicing but I am still
looking for Improvements in order to create new English environment that not
only benefit my Teaching Methodology but also the students learning through the
long process of live and its meaningful learning.
Systematization of the Teaching Process
Over 300 million people speak English as a first language, and millions
more speak it as a second language. English is the official language of over 50
countries. American English is spoken throughout the United States and is used
globally as the common language among speakers of different languages in
communications, science, business, aviation, entertainment, radio, and diplomacy.

Teacher practice knowledge got it before to go to Instituto Nacional de Jiquilisco
to develop his Teaching Practice is; he had developed four macro- skills ones more
than others such as; in Listening, Speaking, Reading and Writing. Even though
now he knows that is not enough in order to develop the students competences. I
reviewed some lecturer about the process of learning English in different
environment of learning it.






Starting
First of all it established a relationship among Student Teacher Practice and
Instituto Nacional de Jiquilisco through an interview that the Teacher Practice did
with the Principal Mr. Mena in which he was interviewed by Mr. Polio Teacher
practice was nervous because, when he introduced himself he forgot the career
that he is taking, at end of the conversation he was accepted in the Institution. That
is how all started.
The first day that teacher practice observed that he will get some
misunderstandings, because meantime when he was talking he noticed that some
students were not focus on the class, even the teacher guide was in the classroom.

, April 2014. He introduces himself with enthusiasm and great
expectation. Some students maintain in a silent way observing him maybe looking
for similarities with Silvas teacher. Teacher practice added his own way of
teaching intending to innovate. Not as the traditional teachers teach English. How
he did it he do it, teacher practice created a blog in the web, with the title of We
Are an Essential Part of the English Language then, he posted on Facebook, then,
he encouraged his students to get in, with the intention to interact with them in
their free time or out the class, after three weeks he noticed that just 4-5 to 42
students of Segundo Ao Administracion Contable seccion B of Instituto
Nacional de Jiquilisco, were in. he asked why they were not using the technologies,
they said teacher we do not understand anything about your blogs what do
you meant with that he replied them that they have to create a Google Account
then they have to create their own blog. Finally we are going to be in contact
through Facebook or our blogs. His meant like that was to provide students a
digital environment of English, taking advantages of the Facebook tools because he
knew that the most of his students were in Facebook and it is easy to linking blogs
with it.
Context
Currently the Education in El Salvador has been on judgment because we
are living in a bad time in our society. People are so worried about what kind of
Education the students receive. In 21st century students have changed the way of
learning, so for it. Teachers have had to innovate the way of teaching. Most
Salvadorans are immigrating to the US. They are looking for benefits for our
country. Even though over the efforts of the teacher to teach English language the
most students do not get to understand and Speak English at the end of courses.
Maybe the methodologies are not the appropriated or the students do not pay
attention in the classroom. In Instituto Nacional de Jiquilisco, teachers implement
different strategies in order to develop students abilities. Nevertheless just six of
them or less got the objective that the teachers want to attain.
Journey.
During the English Teaching Practice I, it has lived different emotional
momentums, where it has put in to prove the previous knowledge learnt about
how to teach and learn English at the same time. It allowed to Teacher Practice to
opened the borders among students-students and Students-Teacher and
experiment and live different experience and expectations about the academic
process. At the beginning it encourages the abilities of the students to let them go
beyond of the language, letting know them to be participate of their own processes
of English Teaching- Learning. In the construction of the know-how in their
personal life, as group, to lead-up to development of the English productions in
order to it more effective before it used, different methods and techniques that it
provided the integration of the students among them. Moreover it developed
topics such as; customs and tradition, landmarks, cultural advice, among others.
Meantime the classes were on, the most of the students do not used to pay
attention till one day teacher practice decided to investigate and read a book about
how to handle the classroom he read part of the book of H Douglas Brown
Teaching by Principles he realized that in teaching teachers must to domain the
topics, used method, methodology, strategy, techniques, and a bunch of updates
information about how to teach and learn English at the same time. The most
important thing is: teachers need to have a passion to teach his/her knowledge
with others. Also they have to manage the language because they have to be
conscious that, if they do not know to speak the language, how they pretend to
develop in their students something. Even they do not know yet. Teacher practice
is conscious that he gets some lack of know-how in the English Language. Perhaps
it is because he is not a native speaker of English.
Fortunately in light of the reading that I did it, in the book mentioned
before. I was redesigning the teaching experience with of the English Language. I
know that I have to work hard in order to get the success. Succeed, I do not
assimilate as individually I meant, not only for teacher but also for students.
Teacher practice has impregnated in his students the correct way to interact with
the language.
On the road, as in so many things in live always appear some inconvenient such
as; institutions activities, trainings, celebrations, and cultural meeting that teacher
practice considers were obstacles to make a better job in the institution; for
example, many days teacher practice went to the institutions and surprise there
was not class, because the institution had cultural celebration, or teachers have
training or black Friday, and so on. I mean, not matter what happens around the
process of teaching, teacher have to take advantages on then time. Teachers in the
institutions know when these activities will come and they prepare for. They are
conscious that activities like those can interrupt the processes.

Lessons Learnt.
Even though all bad inconveniences that has been faced with, it could allowed
to get more experiences that I have been, at the same time grow into a professional.
I am getting new experiences through this process of teaching practice. I believe
that always there is something relevant to get it. For that reason, it is presented
these lessons to learn which ones have got us the possibility to grown. In the
construction of new environment of Teaching process.
How to face the difficulties when it presents in the process of Teaching
Practice.
The lack of knowledge of the Teacher provokes difficulties in the Teaching
process.
The Teaching without planification or the use of the correct Methodology
and the application of the strategies in the Classroom frustrate the students
learning.
There is more than one way of Teaching English its up to the styles of
Teaching.
The MINED, program has to be updated in order to change the
methodology that teachers are using in schools.

Methodology
These 40 hours of teaching practice, have been performed by Jos Osmar
Cortez. Instituto Nacional de Jiquilisco. It has developed through the
methodology of Communicative approach; it has used the Direct Method in order
to create an environment of full English. but if, the interactions among students-
teacher do not going well or the interactions among students-students do not
allow teacher manage the whole class, he will look another way or methodology
how to get it, till. If it necessary to evoke TPR, Total Physical Respond, with the
intention to develop the Students four macro skills abilities that are consider
necessary to handle in order to communicate in appropriate way with teacher and
partners into the classroom it is a plan B but nevertheless the plan A is to focus
in develop English Language as it really is as language not as subject. Which are
Listening, Speaking, Reading and writing each of them are relative to each other.
I am conscious that forty hours are not enough to develop those abilities. It
requires more time but at least this could be useful for teachers in charge of English
Language area. They can retake it as guiding to continue developing the students
processes. At the first stage I wanted to develop the oral ability in the students of
Segundo Ao de Bachillerato opcion Contable seccion, B of INJI. But now I
have realized that students need to manage more than it. I incorporated the others
4 macro skills because now I get more elements and details about how to
encourage students to speak English and also, it supports the methodology that I
used in my practice and these four macro skills have relationship among each
other. Brown maintains some diversity of methods that we can adapt depending
on how the Learning environment are given or create new ones by the teachers or
how the students act through this. So in this way I have decided to develop the
four basic macro skills in the 42 students Administracion Contable seccion B of
Instituto Nacional de Jiquilisco from1st, April to 24
th
, June 2014.






E-portfolio and its application in ELT.
For decades, students have been completing assignments in school. Often, these
were seen only by teacher, graded and returned to the student. Sometimes, the
work was posted on a classroom wall or in school hallway. Many teachers kept
portfolios of student work for report card conferences, and the rare teacher taught
students how to build their own portfolios from their work. (Mary Beth Hertzs
Blog).
The use of e-portfolio in education for educators benefits others experience or
students processes of building their own e-folios, teachers who would like to use e-
portfolios as evidence of students work or improvements must to take in
consideration the next; be sure that their whole students has e-mails account, age
of be independent to use the technology. Otherwise it wont function in a
collaborative way. Nevertheless there are many advantages in the use of e-
portfolios in the educational process because some students down up, good work
and it inspire to others to benefit their own. I would like to use e-portfolios as
collaborative way of teaching and learning in order to interact and create new
teaching environment where the students feel comfortable and see teachers are
with them in the digital era.

Use of technology in the schools or place where there is not.

The uses of new technologies are the planning of the new government the
president said, for each student the MINED is going to provide one computer. So it
means that the implementation of technologies in the public school is near. That is
utopia; the real thing has not happened yet. Schools do not have access to these
useful tools. So that is the chance teachers to have to encourage and accept the
challenges and bring to these teaching scenarios, the progress, and look for a way
how to implement a project in these institutions that involves technologies in
order to integrate some benefits in the education.
How to solve this problem is challenging for teachers and principals of the
institutions. In my case how I will solve this situation, the teachers responsibility
is to create, and recreate new learning environments. The tools is provided by the
webs, internet, and among others useful instruments that really support your
teaching practice.
Conclusion
As conclusion I want to mention that this experience has been hard and funny
because at the end I could learn how teachers have to planning their classes. That
the teachers not only teach but also learn from their own teaching, also I got more
experience in the field I am motivate myself to still making improvements in the
area of teaching English in middle of it, I wanted to give up but it was just a simple
and weak thinking, thanks God now I know something new maybe this experience
has impacted my life. Now I want to impact the life of others and transmit my
know-how through the practice. I am going to start a new process in the field of
teaching I going to do my own English Academy.
