Summary

Here we are highlighting few cases, which normally occur while doing the DT. It will give the idea to DT engineer regarding to the issues on the site while doing the DT. There are many other issues which normally occur, and which we have to justify, but all such cases depends upon case by case, for example, Speech Codec issues, SQI issues, UL/OL issues. If any other issues comes, which are other than those which are discuss below, please kindly let me know so I can provide you the reason to justify them.

C/I ISSUES
Case # 1

Case # 2

Note: C/I on BCCH, was not decoded on some intervals, and thats the

reason it show Blank or N/A values, and In MapInfo or Tems when you plot it, they consider Blank or N/A as zero. Thats why we can see the samples of 0-9 over the snapshot, but if we see the Graph Chart we can find that there are no samples in between range 0-9.

_______DT ISSUES CASE STUDY______ Case # 3

The C/I are bad in the highlighted region, because 58852 BCCH is 2, and it was a MA list clash with the hopping frequency 1.

CASE # 6

_______DT ISSUES CASE STUDY______ CASE # 7

Note: C/I is bad in the region of 3rd cell, because the 3rd cell BCCH is 16, and whenever the call went over 900, there was a MA List clash between adjacent frequency i.e. 17.

RX QUALITY ISSUES
CASE # 1

N ote: Mark A, B, C RxQual is bad, because the cell 58672, 45592 and 58662 have the adjacent frequencies. All the 3 cells area serving in the open area, thats why due to adjacent frequency clash the quality, C/I and SQI is bad.

RX LEVELS ISSUES

CASE # 1

16

_______DT ISSUES CASE STUDY______ CASE # 2

Low RxLev because theres no Dominant server. Call keep shifting between 900 and 1800 Hopping.

Cell Id Issues

CASE # 1

Note: The handover between 58941 and 57661 wasnt occurred , because 5766 is an old site and I
think its CGI are swap, because in the serving area of 57661, 57663 is serving , in the area of 57662 , 57661 is serving and in the area of 57663, 57662 is serving. Thats the reason, while moving from cell 58941 it first handover to 58943 and then it handover to 57662 as 57662 is not in the neighbour list of 58941.

_______DT ISSUES CASE STUDY______ CASE # 2

Note: There were 2 drives in between 59302 and 59311, when we went from 59302
towards 59311, it was dominant and then it handover to 59311. And while coming towards 59302 from 59311, the cell 59311 was dominant and then it handover with good levels to 59302. The samples are overlapped thats why its not so clear to see the samples of 59302.
