Children are the most creative beings on earth. If only we could provide channels for that creativity to blossom.. Creatica, the maiden issue of Mayoor School Raipur magazine is an earnest attempt to capture the imaginative scope of the children. A dream come true,a splendid overwhelming experience which makes this effort a debonair. Creatica, the annual magazine is an endeavour to represent the thoughts and strong opinions of the young and vibrant Mayoorites. It is a self explanatory manuscript engrafted to vivify the achievements and accomplishments registered by the Mayoorites in every field of holistic and all round development encompassing the school curriculum. It unfolds the spectrum of activities undertaken by the educators for the proper nourishment of pupils so that they dazzle the world with their caliber, potential and creativity. The magazine is an effort to illustrate the multifaceted dimensions of teaching learning process which include both scholastic and co-scholastic areas. After two eventful, interesting and very rewarding years, here at Mayoor school Raipur we are coming rapidly towards the close of our third academic year and what a year its been! .The growth of the school is testament to the excellent teaching and learning that has been taking place and this has clearly been recognized by our parents. This year has been a learning process for all of usteachers, parents, students and administrators as we strive to find the right path ahead and direction for the school. Creatica emerges as a platform for the students where they cement their success story and express their own ideas in a good form. In fact, young talents have found their exposure through this medium. I am greatful to the magnanimity of Mayoor School Raipur, Editorial committee and all the students and staff members who have boggled their minds to make Creatica a reality. Wish you all a pleasant journey on the wings of ideas into the realm of imagination blended with the spice of reality Jaspreet Kaur Barham Editor in-chief Creatica I am extremely delighted to note that Mayoor school is bringing out the first issue of its independent Magazine, called Creatica. This is in fact a good achievement by the school, which itself is not very old, so far as its independent entity is concerned. Creation is the manifestation of pervading consciousness. Creative people make the pursuit of knowledge a priority as creativity is more than just being diverse. It is an urge to find meaning in life, to form thoughts and actions around a purpose that makes the most out of life. Human creativity reaffirms and mystifies the power of life. Visions envision the possibilities of tomorrow within the realities of today. I feel that Creatica will serve as the reflective mirror of the galore of programmes, numerous activities and achievements of the school in various fields. Creatica would be another stepping stone in awarding the students and the staff members a special identity, coherence and consensus, ultimately preparing students to achieve greater heights. I once again render my good wishes to the Principal, Editorial board, teachers, students for their efforts in the field of education and hope that the issue of Creatica true to its name would reflect its work and contribute immensely in the arena of education. With lots of love.. Mahendra Ahuja Chairman

Creative minds according to Anna Freud, have been known to survive any kind of training.Young Einstein, we all know, was never considered to be a brilliant child. Intellectually he even seemed backward. Ironically, he learned to talk late and was never seen as a child prodigy. It wasnt until Hermann Minkowski mentored him that his genius was recognized. Just like Einstein, there is a reservoir of talent and creativity in each one of us. What is required is a mentor or a platform to give shape and direction to this creativity and then the genius within us is born. Creatica the school magazine is finally here to provide a platform to the students of the school to let the genius within them be ignited. I extend my heartfelt congratulations to the Principal, members of the Editorial board and all the students on the successful launch of the inaugural issue of Creatica. I am sure the magazine will do the needful by inspiring a combustible hunger for knowledge among the students and also act as their mentor by providing them with an excellent platform to let the creativity within receive a medium of expression. I wish a long lasting success to Creatica and may this pave the way for nurturing independent thinkers and creative souls. May this creative spirit live on for years and years to come. Remember, What comes from the heart goes to the heart. Thanks & regards Roma Ahuja Vice Chairperson
Competitions are the manifestation of creative human intelligence, which propels the human mind to explore the abstract In the realm of desire a mans dream seems to be impossible, but sincere efforts, the first step towards the attainment of such unattainable, courage, immense hard work, discipline, determination and dedication turn deserts into oasis, make difficult things easy, resist distraction and lead the man to his destination. Inaugural publication of Creatica is launched to concretize the dreams of little minds which are culminated into grandeur. Mayoorites perceive goal, accept challenges persevere to transform a passion into the floor of realism. Keeping in mind the fact that the quest and zeal of learning of an individual should never cease, young minds must be induced with the flame of broadening their scope of enlightening themselves. Young hearts should be inspired to widen their vision and to discover the unique genius, they each are born with. I strongly believe that the role of a teacher is a joyful responsibility to nurture young minds into full fledged personalities, bringing out the lusture in every diamond by giving the cutting edge. Keeping in mind the great educative value that a school magazine sustains, students are encouraged to think and write so that they develop their flair of writing and explore their latent talent. They also develop their power of thinking and strengthen their imagination. I congratulate all who are the architects of Creatica. The enthusiasm of the pupils, their spontaneous stream of ideas are austerely beautiful. Remember, destiny is not the matter of change, it is the matter of choice, it is not the thing to be waited for, it is the thing to be achieved. Anticipating a happy browsing in every page of Creatica, wishing you all a pleasure reading. Anuradha Pant Principal

Greetings to Dear Readers!! I am feeling honored to be given an opportunity and to be a part of this first magazine of Mayoor School, Raipur. It is an historic moment in the successful journey of Mayoor School Raipur. This is a collection of all the memorable moments of the school. I would like to share a small story with you and it goes like this:
A group of frogs were traveling through the woods, and two of them fell into a deep pit. When the other frogs saw how deep the pit was, they told the two frogs that they were as good as dead. The two frogs ignored the comments and tried to jump up out of the pit with all their might. The other frogs kept telling them to stop. Finally, one of the frogs took heed to what the other frogs were saying and gave up. He fell down and died. The other frog continued to jump as hard as he could. Once again, the crowd of frogs yelled at him to stop the pain and just die. He jumped even harder and finally made it out. When he got out, the other frogs said, "Did you not hear us?" The frog explained to them that he was deaf. He thought they were encouraging him the entire time. THIS STORY TEACHES TWO LESSONS: 1. There is power of life and death in the tongue. An encouraging word to someone who is down can lift them up and help them make it through the day. 2. A destructive word to someone who is down can be what it takes to kill them. Be careful of what you say. Speak life to those who cross your path. The power of words.... It is sometimes hard to understand that an encouraging word can go such a long way. Anyone can speak words that tend to rob another of the spirit to continue in difficult times. Special is the individual who will take the time to encourage another.
It is matter of immense pleasure to know that Mayoor School Raipur is at brim of releasing its inaugural school magazine, Creatica. My heartfelt greetings to one and all who have been instrumental in making Creatica a reality. I feel that Creatica will provide the platform to students to hone, nurture and nourish their latent talent. Being a part of teaching fraternity it is exciting to be a part of this creative extravaganza because we, the teachers promote excellence amongst all our students. Mayoor School Raipur believes in the ideology, not to train children to learn by force but direct them to it by what amuses their minds, so that they may be better able to discover with accuracy the peculiar bent of the genius they each are. I strongly believe that Creatica will endorse an infinite success. Once again I render my sincere greeting and best wishes to Creatica and its team members for their sincere and creative efforts.
