Unpacking
1. It is recommended to unpack the machine as soon as possible after arrival because of the risk of rust breaking out when left without unpacking for a long time. 2. When unpacked, check the parts against the accessories list mentioned page 28 to investigate for missing parts and for damages caused during transportation. 3. Completely wipe up rust preventive agent with cloth or wiping papers or etc.
Installation
Refer safety manual page No.2 1. The machine should be installed in a place conforming to the conditions below.
: A place where the floor is flat and solid. : A place where it is dry and free of moisture and good in ventilation. : The machine should be installed away from the wall and other objects as shown in the sketch below. More than 600mm More than 600mm Operator

With regard to the Tape releasing device (QHP-T5), refer page 26 : How to mount the tape tension releasing device QHP-T5.
4. Connect power cord to the power supply point, however, it must make sure to confirm actual machine input power on the name-plate.
(200/220/230/240V are available)
Note : Grounding work must be performed (Wire to the position indicated as Earth).
Caution: Do not turn the main power switch to ON yet. Refer page 4 in the safety manual.

5. Connect the attached Air hose or your own air hose between air compressor to Air intake port of the main air pressure regulator as shown below.
Air supply must be 100 liter / min. or more.
CAUTION Upper roller and nozzle should be moved when air will be supplied. Carefully work shall be required.

How to start
Adjustment of main air pressure regulator (G)
Confirm the pressure gauge indicates more than 0.5 MPa. Pull up the pressure adjustment knob at top of the regulator and turn clockwise to increase pressure / counter clockwise to decrease the pressure. Lock the knob by pushing down so that to prevent fluctuation of the pressure. Draining work for the regulator once a day in prior machine operation shall be required with pushing drain faucet at bottom of the regulator. Neglect for draining work should cause of machine trouble such as trouble of component in the air circuit and failure of nozzle heater. THIS WORK IS VERY IMPORTANT TO MAINTAIN MACHINE ALWAYS IN GOOD CONDITION.

Nozzle ON
Nozzle coming IN button on the LCD touch-panel turned ON. CAUTION Nozzle coming IN button should be OFF when using only upper roller heater.
Set-up temperature
Upper roller temperature, Nozzle air temperature set is carried out at this stage. Input intended temperature to the temperature controller (Refer page 10)
Roller heater ON
Roller heater ON/OFF button on the LCD touch-panel turned ON. Roller temperature will be gradually rising. (Roller heater is not able to use when silicon upper roller is mounted.)
CAUTION Upper roller heating up at lower position causes damage for lower silicon roller, Heat-up at upper position is very important to keep silicon roller life to long. It will take about 15 minuets to heat-up and stabilize the temperature.
-6-
Nozzle heater ON
Switch to ON Nozzle heater ON/OFF button on the LCD touch-panel Air will be blowing from the nozzle and Indicator of nozzle air temperature controller (PV) should be rising.
Adjustment of pressure
Adjust nozzle air pressure and upper roller pressure. Adjusts with each pressure regulator (Refer page 11) (Pressure indicator for upper roller is effective only at lower position, therefore adjustment of the upper roller should be done at lower position)
Start to drive
Down the upper roller by stepping ON the upper roller UP / DOWN switch pedal (F) then Steps ON the machine drive start pedal switch (E). Machine runs only while this switch is keeping in step ON. CAUTION It is recommendable to confirm the sealing condition with means to seal material scrap in prior of actual operation.
IT IS ALSO STRONGLY RECOMMENDED TO PROVIDE SEAL TAPE PRESSURE TESTER Pressure tester presents you fine tape sealing work results, with every day sealing test.
CAUTION We would like to recommend operating the machine as a running-in operation for more than 15 minutes at the first time with following conditions. Nozzle air pressure Nozzle air temperature Upper roller temperature 0.05 0.1Mpa 300 degrees Celsius 80 degrees Celsius
It is also recommended to operate as a running-in operation at first time after nozzle heater replacement. Some of smoke or odor may be produced at first time after machine installation or nozzle heater replacement for a while, these are not cause in machine problem, solution will made in due time.

How to Stop
Upper roller rise
Put-up the upper roller by repeated stepping ON the upper roller UP / DOWN switch pedal (F).
After nozzle air stops Turn OFF the main power switch
Cut off the main power.
CAUTION 1. Make sure to cut the main power switch at the latest timing so that to prevent machine trouble. 2. Confirm all parts of where heated are cooled down before leave the machine site.

Nozzle positioning
Very careful work is required to adjust the nozzle position during machine in operation because every part should becomes very high temperature. Basically any tapes can be sealed with small final adjustment, if the nozzle position keeps above-mentioned condition, however, excellent quality of taping result shall only get from fine adjustment of nozzle positioning. Nozzle positioning work shall start by take-off the safety cover as shown below.

Parts replacement
Caution!! Maintenance personnel must keep following items whenever approaching parts inside machine.
Cut the power from original supply (Not enough by cutting main-switch) Confirm and make sure all parts has cooled down. Safety covers and panels must fit again when machine recovery. Confirm and make sure all loosen screws have re-tighten. Follow the procedure described on page 6 after heater replacement work.
Nozzle replacement
Cut the power (As described above cut from original power supply) Loosen 2 pcs. of safety cover mount screw with plus head screwdriver and take-off the cover. Loosen nozzle clamp fix screw with 3 mm hexagon socket wrench. Nozzle can be pulled down. Mount takes reverse way (Refer page15 Nozzle position adjustment)

Push ON tape cut on / off button switch in the LCD touch Panel. (Tape cut is not in active during the tape cut on / off button switch positioned OFF.) After above action (Tape cut on / off switch button pushed ON) manual tape cut is enable with T-CUT switch at left side of the LCD touch panel. Automatic tape cut is done by stepping ON right foot pedal switch during taping work carrying out. (Left foot-pedal switch continuously stepping ON and right-foot pedal switch also steps ON) Still left foot pedal switch is keeping stepped ON; machine automatically stops and roller rise after continuous feed from the tape cut position. This continuous feed length after tape-cut is able to set on the LCD touch panel, particular recommendable set-length fixes to following situation that next tape tip just come into nip position of both rollers. Timing on nozzle leave position or upper roller rising shall also able to set on the LCD touch panel. (Refer tape cutting device set screen page 5 on instruction manual for LCD touch panel) The tape cut on / off switch button shall always be OFF position whenever tape cutter is not used.

Pointing position is adjusted manually therefore set for point of cut position (Cuts when Seam line go across the point: In case of seam line ends in the fabric like pocket / cross seam) or Guide of the taping (Makes point as a guide for taping line).
Make sure to cut main power supply by turning main power switch OFF
Put on the attached tape reel support to the tape releasing device box.
Mount tape tension releasing device as shown bellow. (By using attached bolt and washer)
Take off the terminal safety cover placed at back of the arm. 4 pcs. of set screw should be taken off. Set screw

Non-contact type infrared temperature sensor is predisposed to 1. It shows different temperature depends on surface color of the object. 2. It is only able to detect in limited temperature range. (60 to 120 dig. C) 3. It shows different temperature depends on the circumambient air temperature. 4. Dust must wipe off from the sensor lens or object surface to get correct measurement. but conversely it shows very accurate temperature if above condition is fixed.
