I. II. IRREGULAR VERBS a) trati drati leati bjeati to run to hold, keep to lie (down), respose to run away

These verbs have endings im/i/i/imo/ite/e in present tense, but for past tense or moods the participle is like in -am verbs: Ja trim. | I run Ja sam trao. | I ran b) ivjeti voljeti to live to love, like, want

We remove -jeti and place im/i/i/imo/ite/e for present tense. And for past tense or moods, you return to original form: Ja ivim. | I live. Ja sam ivio. | I ran / I was running. (male) Ja sam ivjela. (female) Mi smo ivjeli. | We lived. Mi volimo. | We love. Mi smo voljeli. | We loved.
