The Westcliff
10 Single Rooms

Situated in Johannesburg's most exclusive residential suburb, The Westcliff's hillside setting with
cascading, sculpted gardens and elegantly opulent accommodation evoke a bygone era of leisure
and refinement in one of the world's most vibrant cities.

All our rooms have windows that open, while double-glazing, heavy drapes and individually
controlled air-conditioning ensure a haven of peaceful seclusion at any given time. Mood lighting
is standard, plush robes are provided and in-room dining is available around the clock. Each of
the extravagantly-sized bedrooms and suites at The Westcliff has been individually decorated by
renowned South Africa interior designer, Graham Viney. No two are the same in terms of shape,
layout or décor. The configuration of The Westcliff - nine villas and no central lobby - provides
cozily intimate settings which assure privacy.

Dining presents endless opportunities for the senses to be indulged at The Westcliff, and the
hotel's chefs exploit every opportunity to do this. Their culinary expertise is internationally
respected, their flair legendary. Specializing in international dishes with a distinctively South
African flair, La Belle Terrasse and The Loggia have gained enviable reputations for their cuisine,
relaxed atmosphere and superb service. Afternoon tea is served daily in the Conservatory while
the Polo Lounge and Terrace is a celebrated rendezvous. Your stay includes breakfast daily.
Dinner This Evening- Day at Leisure
This evening you will be met at the hotel at 7.30pm for a quick road transfer to the wonderful
Grace Hotel in Rosebank where you will have a site inspection and dinner. You will return to the

12.15pm Transfer Fedair - Johannesburg to Timbavati

Fly on board a scheduled shuttle aircraft to the airstrip in the Timbavati Game Reserve. Please
note that depending on the number of passengers, this flight may stop at lodges on the way.

Please note that for this air transfer, space and safety concerns don't allow for lots of baggage, so there is
a strict 20kg (44 pound) per person baggage limit. All bags must be soft so they can be squeezed into tight
corners. 44 pounds does not sound like much, but as the dress code in the camps is casual and as most
camp and some safaris offer a laundry service, 44 pounds is ample.
