(BCD)

The first prefix figure always provides the length of the left leg of the component i.e. 400mm.

(BED)

COMPONENT CODE:- CLB, IDENTIFIATION FOR INTERNAL CORNER. This component is used to connect 2no pieces of vertical formwork at an internal corner. For e.g. 150 CLB 2100 is how this type of component can be identified in the modulation shop drawings. Due to only 3no letters maximum can be used on any one code, we have had to approach this component to enable identification in the following method. As the extrusion material is identified as ICX 150, which accommodates left or right hand requirement, the horizontal dimension on the contact face of one leg is the standard dimension of 100mm and the opposite leg is 150mm. The first prefix number always identifies the non-standard dimension, in this case i.e. 150mm. The suffix number identifies the length of the component, in this case i.e. 2100mm. The three letter code as mentioned identifies the following:The first letter (C) used to identify internal corner. The second letter (L) identifies left side of which the standard 100mm dimension leg is located therefore the 150mm leg will be on the right side, or vise versa the letter (R) identifies the 100mm on the right. The third letter (B) provides the location of the first hole from the bottom, in this case i.e. 200mm. The position of the first hole is achieved by using the following letters:- A = 175mm to the first hole, B 200mm to the first hole, C = 225mm to the first hole, D = 250mm to the first hole.

The 2no legs, which are attached to the adjacent components, are tapered at the bottom to provide ease when striking.
