This component is to form the horizontal corner on top of a ledge (sun shade) connecting to the vertical face. For e.g. 100 LS 1800 is how this type of component can be identified in the modulation shop drawing. The prefix number provides the vertical dimension of the component. The prefix number (vertical dimension) can be on occasions become 125mm or 150mm depending on the required make up of formwork The suffix number provides the total length of the component.
(100 LS 1800)
The third letter of the code identifies 100 x 100mm end plates on either end.
The third letter of the code identifies 100 x 100mm end plate on left hand side only.
The third letter of the code identifies 100 x 100mm end plate on the right hand side only.

COMPONENT CODE:- BPP IDENTIFICATION FOR BEAM PROP HEAD WITH 2NO PROP LENGTH SUPPORTS. This component is used to support and form soffit of the beam also providing the connection of the adjacent beam soffit formwork For e.g. BPP 500 is how this type of component can be identified on modulation shop drawings. No prefix figure is required in this case as the material used is of a standard width of 100mm.

STANDARD FORMWORK COMPONENTS COMPONENT CODE:- EC IDENTIFICATION FOR EXTERNAL CORNER This component is used to connect 2no pieces of vertical formwork together at an external corner. For e.g. EC 2050 is how this type of component can be identified in the modulation shop drawings. No prefix figure is required in this case as the material used is a standard extrusion therefore component code and length only required, in this case EC 2050.

COMPONENT CODE:- D IDENTIFICATION FOR DECK PANEL. This panel is used to form the soffit of the slab For e.g. 450 D 1100 is how this type of panel can be identified on the modulation shop drawings. The first prefix number always provides the width of the component i.e. 450mm. The suffix number equals the length therefore the panel in this case is 1100mm.

(DP)
PROP LENGTH Vary in length to suit project to project basis. The fixed length dimensions are provided in the modulation shop drawings. As these items are of a fixed dimension it is important to ensure concrete levels are within the required tolerance.

COMPONENT CODE:- IC IDENTIFICATION FOR INTERNAL CORNER. This component is used to connect 2no pieces of vertical Formwork at an internal corner. For e.g. IC 2050 is how this type of component can be identified in the modulation shop drawings. No prefix figure is required in this case as the material used is a standard extrusion therefore component code and length only required, in this case IC 2050 Each return at the internal corner is a standard dimension of 100mm to the left and 100mm to the right leg.

STANDARD FORMWORK COMPONENTS COMPONENT CODE:- MB IDENTIFICATION FOR MID BEAM. COMPONENT CODE:- EB IDENTIFICATION FOR END BEAM. These 2no components forms the soffit of the slab plus supporting the ends of the Deck Formwork (D) No prefix figure is required in this case as the material used is of a standard extrusion 100mm as shown below, therefore component code and length only required, in this case MB 1300 or EB 1300 Such components are always detailed on the Deck layout modulation shop drawings.
(MB)
Looking at the detail you can see this component is cut at an angle slopping outwards from the contact face. Assembling of the component requires a DECK PROP HEAD (DP) located at either end.
(EB)
Looking at this detail you can see this component is cut with one angle only slopping outwards from the contact face, as the opposite end is always adjacent to the SOFFIT LENGTH (SL) Looking at the following page also can give you a clearer view of the components partially assembled.

COMPONENT CODE:- RK IDENTIFICATION FOR ROCKER. This component is used to form the face of the wall at the bottom of a Wall panel also facilitates striking of the wall panel. For e.g. 50 RK 600 is how this type of component is identified. The first prefix number always provides the vertical contact dimension of the component i.e. 50mm. The suffix number equals the horizontal contact dimension therefore the (RK) in this case is 600mm long.
Page 28.

COMPONENT CODE:- SB IDENTIFICATION FOR BEAM SOFFIT BULKHEAD. This component forms the soffit of Beams up to a maximum of 300mm in width. For e.g. 430 SB 1100 is how this type of panel can be identified on the modulation shop drawings. The first prefix number always provides the width of the component i.e. 430mm. This dimension is determined by the width of the beam plus 130mm to accommodate fixing of the adjacent formwork, in this case a 300 wide beam requires a 430mm wide component. The suffix number equals the length therefore the component in this case is 1100mm.

COMPONENT CODE:- SC & SCE IDENTIFICATION FOR SOFFIT CORNER & SOFFIT CORNER EXTERNAL. Soffit Corner & Soffit corner external 125mm deep. The SC component forms the vertical internal corner between walls and / or beam faces and horizontal internal corners between wall / beam face and soffit of the slab. For e.g. 400 SC 400 is how this type of component can be identified on the modulation shop drawings. There are instances when the 2no dimensions stated are not the same therefore in this case you look at the rear side (non-contact face of the component) checking the dimension from left to right. The first prefix figure always provides the length of the left leg of the component i.e. 400mm. The suffix number provides the length of the right leg, therefore the length in this case is 400. Regarding the SCE the same applies as above apart the component forms the vertical external corner. (SC) Soffit Corner When checking the dimensions always look at the component from the noncontact face approaching from left to right.
(SCE)
Soffit Corner External Again when checking dimensions look at the non-contact face approaching from left to right to determine the dimensions.

COMPONENT CODE:- SL, SLB & SLR IDENTIFICATION FOR SOFFIT LENGTH, BEAM SOFFIT OFFSET & SOFFIT LENGTH WITH THE SUPPORT LIP FOR THE DECK PANELS REMOVED. The (SL) forms an internal horizontal corner between wall and slab. The (SLB) forms a soffit of a beam and connecting to the walls The (SLR) forms as stated above on the (SL) apart from the support lip being removed of the extrusion. No prefix figure is required in this case as the material used is of a standard extrusion as shown below, therefore component code and length only required, in this case SL 1800, SLB 1600 & SLR 1200.
(SL)
The (SL) forms an internal horizontal corner between wall and slab.
(SLB) The (SLB) forms the soffit of a beam and connecting to the walls.
(SLR) The SLR does not have a support lip in order to accommodate ease on the removal of the slab formwork in small areas during striking. .
