Course Topics MATLAB: Arrays, Functions and Files; MATLAB Programming; Plotting; Model Building, Regression; Statistics; Linear Algebraic Equations; Numerical Methods for Calculus and Differential Equations. Excel: Introduction; Editing a Worksheet; Graphing; Data Analysis; Solving Equations and Integrals; Visual Basic for Applications (VBA); Creating and Executing Macros and Functions. The exams are open textbook only. No notes or any other reference material is allowed. Calculators are permitted, with no pre-set programs.
