JESUS MAKES IT POSSIBLE What is your dream? Has God placed a dream, a desire in your heart?

Dont doubt but believe what is going through your mind. Even if your present circumstances do not guarantee your future, dont give up; the end has not come. Whether you were given a vision or dream and you never believed it because it overwhelmed you more than you could imagine - no matter the circumstances, no matter what happens, with God, all things are possible. With Jesus in your life, you will be in a future state as if it were already true or here. If Christ Himself changes you through His Word by His Spirit, it will remain permanent. The power of change can transform you from darkness to light, from yoke to deliverance, from where you are now to where God wants you to be. With Jesus in your life, your impossibilities will become possible.

HOW TO OVERCOME Many desire victory but are not victorious. Many wish for success and yet fail repeatedly. Many dream of higher heights yet find themselves slipping slowly downhill. A successful life does not come by mere wishful thinking but a rightful focus. Champions are not crowned for desiring to be crowned but because they have defeated an enemy. The burning question now is, how do I overcome? The answer is obedience to His Word. God has promised overcoming victory to those who believe the Word and act upon it. Acting on the Word gives God an opportunity to heal, bless, deliver and save you. When we fearlessly act upon the Word of God and joyously cast our every care on Him, victory is as sure as the rising of the sun.

CHARGE THE AIR AROUND YOU! Do you want to speak? Pause a minute and think about what your usual conversations have been like. Is your speech profitable to others? Do your words build others up or pull them down? Above all, do your words glorify God? Stop and think first before you speak. Make sure you refrain from speaking anything negative. Vain and idle talk is a product of a vain and idle heart. If we are honest with ourselves, we must admit that much of our conversation is nothing more than empty talk. In Matthew 12:30-34, we are told that God takes notice of every word we say, even that which we ourselves do not notice. So, do not just fill the air; speak words that build other people up words that edify, heal, deliver, bless and save. When your words are positive, the air around you would be filled with positive things, the air around you would be charged with positive ideas, opportunities and good will.

TAKE REFUGE People feel secure in their homes until natural disaster hits or robbers break in. People feel safe in their families and with friends until crisis hits of separation, death or violent rebellion. People take for granted their health until sickness, disease or injury kicks in. As for me and my house, I have no other refuge than this command of Jesus, Only believe that is my refuge. When natural disaster hits, only believe that God will see you through. When separation hits, only believe that God is powerful and faithful to His faithful ones. When sickness comes, only believe that it will not last long it may be to stop you a while to improve your relationship with God. As believers, our troubles are not to impair us but improve us when we face them in faith, believing that it is to advance our cause and course in the Lord. So, take refuge in Him; He is there to walk you through. Psalm 91:15 He shall call upon Me, and I will answer him; I will be with him in trouble; I will deliver him and honour him.

I AM LOVED BY GOD Be silent for a few minutes with one thought in mind I AM LOVED BY GOD! When everything around you is unquiet be quiet, says the Lord and know that I AM GOD! (Psalm 46:10) In other words, be still, stand firm and know that God is with you! Know that in the vicissitudes of life, in every pain and in every pleasure of life, God is still saying something. Those whom God designs to admit to the most intimate acquaintance with Him, He first makes sensible that they deserve to be kept at a great distance from Him. The more sensibly you feel the calamities of this earth, the better improved you will become in your relationship with God. Therefore, every situation you face as a child of God serves a purpose but how you handle it matters. Ephesians 3:16-19 I pray that out of his glorious riches he may strengthen you with power through his Spirit in your inner being, so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith. And I pray that you, being rooted and established in love, may have power, together with all the saints, to grasp how wide and long and high and deep is the love of Christ, and to know this love that surpasses knowledge that you may be filled to the measure of all the fullness of God.

THE WAY OUT Every one of us is passing through one or the other tough or painful situation and is looking for the way out. Many times we feel overwhelmed by the many battles we are fighting and we just cannot see the way out. It is therefore important to stop and think, Am I in the place where God wants me to be? Or do I find myself in a place without purpose where my weakness controls me? We should not tempt satan to tempt us by giving our attention to things that nurse our weaknesses. No one can say, No to sin without the help of the Holy Spirit. The greatest battle is in our heart. If you succeed, you have already succeeded in your heart. If you fail, you have already failed in your heart. Therefore, to live an overcoming life, stand for what is right and focus on those things that edify your spirit. How? We are made spiritual by living in the Word and by the Word living in us. Genesis 4:6 If you do what is right, will you not be accepted? But if you do not do what is right, sin is crouching at your door; it desires to have you, but you must rule over it. Therefore, we should not be carnally minded and be ruled by our fleshly desires. Rather, our mind and bodies should be our servants and not our master This is the way out!

TB Joshua Ministries FAITH POINTS TO JESUS Acts 4:13 - Now when they saw the boldness of Peter and John, and perceived that they were uneducated and untrained men, they marvelled. And they realized that they had been with Jesus. Do people see Jesus in you? People will see Jesus Christ in you when your life points to Jesus. Your life points to Jesus when you do not take the glory or credit. We must walk by faith because only faith points to Jesus. That you listen to the message of the Gospel every day does not mean you are a believer. Knowing facts about Jesus does not change your relationship with Him. It is not a matter of listening to the Word of God as a mere listener, good hearer or intellectual; it is a matter of allowing the Word to transform you by its very nature by acting on it. Many are good in hearing, preaching and reading the Word but just few can bring Jesus onto the scene. This is what is making the Church seem unpopular because this is a generation without faith and hope. Faith does not ask for possible things; it demands impossible. Therefore, faith requires us to speak forth before we feel or see. We must awake to the fact that we do not see first, and then believe. As a result of our believing, we see. We must believe that we would see the glory of God. When our lives bring Jesus on the scene, we would see His glory. May your life point men to Jesus as you walk by faith, not by sight.

Like Share STRIKE THE ROOT

Satan is the author of affliction. He does nothing without sin. In other words, sin is the cause of affliction. When Jesus said to the paralytic in Mark 2:5 Son, your sins are forgiven, He simply chose to deal with the cause, I mean the source, the root of the affliction rather than the affliction itself. For example, when you cut the stem of a tree, you have not killed it yet but you have only given it the chance to develop other shoots I mean, other branches. But when you deal with the roots, you have killed the tree indeed. So, it is better to deal with the cause of a problem than to try to solve it. Today, people bother about the solution of a problem rather than its cause; they bother about healing, rather than about sin, the cause of affliction, just as they bother about blessing rather than about sin the cause of poverty. When you bother about a problem while neglecting its cause, you cannot have a lasting solution and that is why the problem keeps recurring. Dealing with the problem and neglecting the cause is like merely cutting off the branches of a tree while neglecting the root. Therefore, strike the root of your problem in order to have a lasting solution in Christ Jesus

THE VALUE OF YOUR TRIAL So many people today pray against their trials without realising that no one is readymade before God got him. Joseph knew the value of his trial because it was in the midst of that trial that that God got him to the place where He could use him (Genesis 39:20-23). He had to experience poverty in order to manage blessing when it finally came. Who knows what would have happened if your prayer for a better condition had been answered? If not for your trial, would you be seeking Gods face? No matter the trouble that is facing you, dont let your trial lead you out of Gods presence. God sometimes allows His people to come under such trying situations in order to bring them to their knees, for it is then that we discover that it is not about us but all about Jesus.

TRUE JOY Do you find that your emotions go up and down with your changing situation? I mean, does your situation dictate the nature of your joy? The world, unbelievers may have happiness they find in their environment money, business, fame and popularity but it does not last. The peace of the world concerns only body and time but the peace, the joy, that Christ gives enriches the soul for eternity (Isaiah 61:7). Joy is something that only believers have because joy is a fruit of faith. A man of faith can be happy even when there is nothing to be happy about on the outside because true joy comes from loving Jesus not from things that we amass.

GOD OWNS NEXT Psalm 39:4,6, Show me, Lord, my lifes end and the number of my days; let me know how fleeting my life is. Surely everyone goes around like a mere phantom; in vain they rush about, heaping up wealth without knowing whose it will finally be. But now, Lord, what do I look for? My hope is in You. The only way we can give God the honour He deserves is to give God next. Next means the future, the moment to come. We live now, God lives next; we own now, God owns next. If you know that you are expected to use todays supplies and let tomorrow be, you would not misuse todays supplies. The cause of killing, stealing and destruction is the urge to build up treasures for ourselves here on earth. When you know that next belongs to God, you will reverence Him. Worrying about next, tomorrow cripples our ability to think, act and exercise faith in the present and the present only is ours. Each day God sends His loving aids to strengthen and assist us. Learn to use todays supplies for todays trouble and let tomorrow, next be.

FOCUS ON YOUR PURPOSE Every man has a time and space allotted to him by Gods divine providence. We call this your purpose or your destiny. When your purpose is clear, your life would have meaning. The only way to see life clearly is to focus on Christ alone. We are celebrating the life of Jesus Christ because His focus was not broken. Pay any price to protect your focus. Be determined. Broken focus is the real reason why men fail. We overcome by keeping our purpose at the forefront of our minds. In order not to end up like the masses out there who are merely wandering without direction and without purpose, focus on your dream. In the face of snow, in the face of rain do not give up, do not stop; keep on pressing, dig deep and fight it through. Those who have the greatest and most positive impact on society are not concerned about name and fame. We should not allow unhealthy ego, anger, pride or arrogance to overrule our good intention. Every day you must stay true to your purpose despite snow or rain. Proverbs 4:25-26 Let your eyes look straight ahead; fix your gaze directly before you. Give careful thought to the paths for your feet and be steadfast in all your ways.

WORDS ARE NOT CHEAP We must awaken to the fact that words are not cheap. Wars start because of words. Peace starts because of words. Just as Words created the world in Genesis 1:3, so your words create your world. Are you living in a world of joy? Are you living in a world of anger? Are you living in a world of frustration? Your old habits and ways of life can no longer hold with the change of events. Old habits of using insensitive words, not listening, refusing to admit wrong, belittling others opinions, being rude, making jokes at others expense and criticising instead of praising will wreck relationships and hinder the healing of past hurts. Jesus is calling you to change. Change because you can. Matthew 12:35-36 But I say to you that for every idle word men may speak, they will give account of it in the day of judgment. For by your words you will be justified, and by your words you will be condemned.

THE POWER OF VISION 2 Corinthians 4:18 - So we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen, since what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal. It is common to see that our troubles came upon us by surprise because we lacked the anointing or vision to prepare for them. We need not be ignorant of satans schemes because while the present only is ours, God owns and lives in the future. When you are born again, you would receive a prophetic picture of the future you desire, not the future you fear. Nothing would transform your life like seeing the vision of your future state as if it already were. Joseph saw the vision of his future state and he was able to endure the dry pit, slavery and imprisonment and overcome seven years of famine. Abraham saw the vision of his future state and was able to break the yoke of barrenness and become the father of nations. Stephen saw the vision of his future state and conquer the temptation of bodily pain and fear of death to gain the kingdom of God. It is ridiculous to allow what is seen, felt or heard to cause you to doubt the fulfilment of Gods promise in your life. God is faithful and powerful to His faithful followers. When we walk by sight, we do not need faith and when we walk by faith, we do not need sight. The issue is that we do not see then believe; we believe first, then we see. As a result of our believing, we see. See what? God infinitely more powerful and angels uncountabley more numerous than our adversary. As a Christian, you must know the protection you are under. We must awake to the fact that Jesus said we must believe. If you can believe, worry and anxiety will vanish.

GOD IS STILL THERE Has God ever seemed far and distant from you? Have you ever felt like you were left all alone? Has your situation ever pressed you down to doubt Gods love? Have you found yourself wondering where was God when this or that happened? God is there. In the midst of your trial, poverty, pain, sickness and situation, God is there. He is still in control. Mans condition does not change Gods position; He is still the steadfast One, still faithful, still trustworthy. Through your trials, God is who you need Him to be. It is when you are between a rock and a hard place that you perceive the Lords presence in your life the most clearly and His presence will more than supply everyone elses absence. When God is involved in your matter, the matter is settled. Those who humble themselves before the Lord take the surest route to securing themselves. He is our refuge and strength, a very present help in times of trouble. When you put your problems into Gods hands, He will put His peace into your heart. In your challenges in life, faith is there for you because God is still there. So, when you have come to the end of your rope, it is time to grab on to faith. Isaiah 43:2-3 When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; And through the rivers, they shall not overflow you. When you walk through the fire, you shall not be burned, Nor shall the flame scorch you. For I am the Lord your God, The Holy One of Israel, your Saviour.

WHEN GOD COMES JOHN 4:23 But the hour is coming, and now is, when the true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and truth; for the Father is seeking such to worship Him. When God comes to enquire of His true worshippers, the question will not be who worshipped in Jerusalem, who worshipped in The SCOAN, who worshipped in this or that church but who worshipped in Spirit and truth. The essence of true worship is in honouring God with what we cherish most. If God is Spirit, we must worship Him by the Spirits power. As we live in the Spirit, we live in the process of Gods mind. You cannot be greater than your processing. When you worship God in Spirit and in truth, you live in the process of Gods mind. How? When you combine all the fruit of the Holy Spirit, you are living in the process of Gods mind. If you miss one, you miss all. A beautiful life, the process of Gods mind doesnt just happen; it is built. If it is not in Spirit, it is not in truth and so it is all nothing. We worship God in Spirit when all the passions and purpose of our heart and every act of our worship is guided and regulated by the Word of God. We must depend upon Gods Spirit, laying our souls under His influences and operation. God does nothing without His Word. When Jesus comes, where will He find you? In church, Jerusalem, your house, your office, your city or in the Spirit? The Lord knows where we are and will return for us in due season.

FIGHT IT THROUGH Ask the winner of a race and he will tell you that the last leg before the finishing line is always painful. If you look at the great characters of faith in the Bible, you will see how much embarrassment, trial, tribulation and persecution they had to endure to come to a new level in life. Before God came to the rescue of the three Hebrew men in the blazing furnace, they stood their ground. Before God cleansed David from the guilt of his sin, he felt the pain of his decision. Before God responded to the cry of blind Bartimaeus, he was shouted down by opposition. You cant fight through pleasure; you cant fight through good health; you cant fight through comfort. As a Christian, when discouragement comes, when fear hits, dont stop; dig deep and fight it through because God is waiting to see you endure. When your trial is getting hotter, you are getting closer to the breakthrough (Hebrews 12:4).

YOUR REFUGE Life is filled with trouble. Troubles come not necessarily because we have steered a wrong course but because we live in a complex and contradictory world where the storms of life catch us unawares. Many things can bring passing comfort but the trouble still remains. As a member of the Household of faith, you can say, I have no other refuge than this command of Jesus: only believe (Mark 9:23). Faith is a heart that believes God in every circumstance. The only way to feel good about yourself is to begin to believe and accept what Jesus has done for you He died for you, He reigns in power for you and still prays for you. If you truly believe, your heart will be at rest in the midst of the storm. What keeps us from despairing is not what we see but what we believe.

REST IN THE PLACE GOD HAS FOR YOU Are you worried, disturbed or stressed? Many due to anxieties and worries find themselves rushing helter-skelter, trying to be, to do, to achieve in their own strength, ability and power. The result is high stress and emotional torture. Such are not content, looking to others for direction, comparing themselves to others instead of resting in the place God has for them. They may try to believe but are not doers of the Word. People of God, faith cannot be forced. You dont need to struggle to believe. The first step in our walk of faith is to stop our own works and rest in Gods love, wisdom and power. When we truly believe, our hearts will be at rest. When we believe, worries and anxieties will vanish. This kind of faith is real, genuine and natural. It is not a pretentious calm or unnatural self-restraint. When you truly believe, you will not compare yourself to others or measure

yourself by yourself. You will be content because you believe that you are what God says you are. So, stop worrying. Rest in the place God has for you. Do your best and leave the rest to Him (Matthew 11:28).

THE VICTORIOUS ONES Feeling lost or defeated? Take heart. As members of the household of faith, we are promised victory in Christ Jesus by His resurrection from the dead (1 Corinthians 15:57). The victorious ones in Christ Jesus are not sinking in fear but as bold as a lion. The victorious ones discuss the promise of victory instead of the battle. They confess who they are in Christ and not what their circumstances have to say. They are no longer controlled by the senses but are dominated by the Living Word which lives in them, grows in them and sanctifies them day by day and hour by hour. The victorious ones live each day as if it were their last. Are you one of them? Yesterday is history, today is opportunity and tomorrow is mystery. Take hold of todays opportunity and live in the glorious victory promised to you in Christ. Life is too short to waste!

DONT PUSH GOD OUT 1 Timothy 4:15-16 Meditate on these things; give yourself entirely to them, that your progress may be evident to all. Take heed to yourself and to the doctrine. Continue in them, for in doing this you will save both yourself and those who hear you. It is so important that you take time to improve your quiet moments for devotion with God because in the whirl of everyday activities, you cannot make a good decision. That is, a decision with God. You cannot think while on the run. The simple truth is that you will never find a convenient time for God; you must make it. Every time of man is occupied but remember that there is a time for everything. There is a time to talk and a time to listen. There is a time for movement and a time to be still. Stop jamming your life so full that you push God out. He is not one of those things; He is the most important of all. We serve God with our sacrificial offerings of inconvenience. That is, when we dishonour ourselves that the Lord might be honoured in what we have to give. All offerings of convenience are not sacrificial. While making time to talk to God, dont forget you also need time to sit back in faith and listen to what God has to say. It

is not a matter of bringing what you think you need to hear; this is about what God has to say to you. Every day, God has something to say to you. Even when He seems to be quiet, God is still saying something. When God speaks, changes begin. Your life will not change until you change something you do daily. Therefore, the secret of your future is hidden in your daily routine. Listen to the voice of God and ask Him to teach you to take the next step in trusting Him, heart and soul.

ORDER YOUR WORDS ARIGHT As a faith man, never allow your situation to mislead you to make a wrong confession. When I order my words aright, God manifests to me the benefits of His great salvation. That is, whatever I shall decree out of faith, that I shall have. Believing is possessing. As Christians, it is true that we have the things we say. However, negative confession precedes possession of wrong things. Most of our troubles are tongue troubles. Our confession is what God says about our situation. If our confession is positive, our attitude towards God is positive. If our confession is negative, our attitude towards God is negative and when we are face to face with Jesus, what matters most is our attitude towards Him. In the same way as confession can be made unto healing, deliverance and all of Gods blessings, confession can be made unto failure, sickness, defeat and disgrace. Salvation follows our confession of faith. Gods Word says that what you say will become a visible reality in the natural world as long as you steadfastly hold on to your confession of faith. Confession of faith means saying what God has said over and over until the thing desired in your heart and promised in the Word is fully manifested in your life. It is not only your thoughts that build power or weakness into you; your words and every conversation also do. Every time you speak right, you are training yourself to think right and act right. To order your words aright, keep the Words of the Holy Spirit in your mind, mouth and every conversation.

PSALM 50:22-23 - Now consider this, you who forget God, lest I tear you in pieces, and there be none to deliver: Whoever offers praise glorifies Me; And to him who orders his conduct aright I will show the salvation of God.

CAST YOUR BURDENS UPON THE LORD In Psalm 55:22 and 1 Peter 5:7, the Bible encourages us to, cast our burden upon the Lord. Care is a burden; it makes the heart sick. Worry can rob us of happiness. We often labour under the burden of senseless anxiety and care about tomorrow. That is why the Bible tells us to cast the burden upon the Lord for He alone is able to give us rest. The best remedy against anxiety is to cast our burden upon God, believing His divine will to calm our spirit. To cast our burden upon God is to rest our trust in His providence and promise. His promise does not say He would keep us free from cares and anxiety but that He would give us enough grace to stand and resist those troubles that cause our anxieties, cares and unnecessary fears. If we commit our ways and works to Him, He promised to carry us in the arms of His power, as a nurse carries a child and will strengthen our spirit by His Spirit. He who bore the burden of our sorrows, worries, cares, anxieties and fears, desires us to leave it entirely for Him because He alone knows what it takes to give us rest. Why dont we trust and let Him prove Himself? After all, He is the Governor of our future - I mean, He owns our future. In other words, after you must have done everything humanly possible, you must leave the issue with God to mark your work.

ATTRACT JESUS ATTENTION If you examine your life, you would agree that much of what you say is nothing more than empty talk. We walk to be seen, give to be praised and talk to be noticed but to gain the attention of people, not our Heavenly Father. Remember that idle words may entertain men; they do not reach God. Ask Blind Bartimaeus and he will tell you that the voice of humility is the one that God hears most clearly (Mark 10:46-52). On that busy road, many cried out for Jesus attention but not many cried in faith. Of all graces, Jesus honours faith the most. Instead of worrying about what others think of you or striving to please men, be bothered about getting Jesus attention because He is the Author and Finisher of our faith and holds our future in His hands. By looking into the Word and acting on it, we bring Jesus on the scene.
