    This notice informs Mr. Romeo Marcelo that two checks he issued were dishonored due to insufficient funds. The first check for 1 million pesos to Josie Cagurungan from Metrobank was dated July 20, 2012. The second check for 1.5 million pesos to Rosito Cagurungan from BDO was dated June 30, 2012. Mr. Marcelo is given a final 5 day demand to pay the amount owed, otherwise the senders will pursue legal action against him to recover costs, including lawyer's fees.

    NOTICE OF DISHONOR AND FINAL DEMAND FOR PAYMENT

    August 29, 2012 MR. ROMEO MARCELO Victory Norte, Santiago City Dear Mr. Marcelo: This is to notify you of the dishonor of the following checks that you issued in our favor for reason that that are drawn against insufficient funds. a. Metrobank Check Number 0696812 dated July 20, 2012 for the amount ONE MILLION PESOS (P1,000,000.00) in favor of Josie Cagurungan; and, b. BDO Check Number 0070303 dated June 30, 2012 for the amount ONE MILLION FIVE HUNDRED PESOS (P1,000,000.00) in favor of Rosito Cagurungan . When you issued the said checks, you have assured us that there are more than sufficient funds to cover the said amount, however, the checks were returned dishonored. Your strong representation that you have sufficient funds in your bank accounts to cover the above checks is the reason why we loaned to you the equivalent amount, without which we would not have done so. Final demand is now made upon you to make good your obligation within five (5) days from receipt hereof. Your failure to comply with this demand shall constrain us to hire the services of a private counsel to file the necessary criminal action against you in our courts of law.
