Train Children in the right way, and when old, they will not stray! --Proverbs 22: 6 ORGAN PRELUDE:Glorified, Blessed, and Worthy Leatherman INTROIT: This is the Day --Praise Band
CALL TO WORSHIP: Nathan Gardner Just before His crucifixion, our Lord lamented over the fate of His people, the Jews. O Jerusalem, Jersusalem, the city that kills the prophets and stones those who are sent! How often I would have gathered your children together as a hen gathers her brood under her wing, but you would not! May we, as children of God, not be hard-hearted as well, and follow God with gladness and joy, clinging to Him as a child clings to its parents. *HYMN #595G Theyll Know We Are Christians vss. 1-3
guitars: Ransom Elwell, Pastor Tuttle percussion: Nathan Gardner
*PRAYER of CONFESSION: Ransom Elwell Heavenly Father, time and time again people reject your loving offer of grace through your Son Jesus. Sometimes, like them, we your children act and live as though we have done the same. We pray for your forgiveness, and ask that your Spirit would dwell richly within us, to guide and direct us to live as your children should. We pray this in Jesus name. Amen. *HYMN #595G Theyll Know We Are Christians vs. 4 *AFFIRMATION of FAITH: Apostles Creed (back) Amy Elwell

THE APOSTLES CREED I believe in God the Father Almighty, Maker of heaven and earth: And in Jesus Christ, his only Son, our Lord; Who was conceived by the Holy Ghost, born of the virgin Mary, Suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, dead, and buried; He descended into hell; The third day he rose again from the dead; He ascended into heaven, and sitteth on the right hand of God the Father Almighty; From thence he shall come to judge the quick and the dead. I believe in the Holy Ghost; the holy catholic church; the communion of saints; the forgiveness of sins; the resurrection of the body; and the life everlasting. Amen.
Let no one despise your youth, but set the believers an example in speech and conduct, in love and faith, and in purity. Put these things into practice, so that all may see your progress!
