Blessings for the Nurses

! One of this years many projects was an addition for the nurses station at the hospital. The Word of God Lutheran Church from Atlanta took on the task of raising the funds. The addition includes a kitchenette for the nurses to use in patient care, an area for storage and preparation of medications, a charting area, and a restroom for the sta to use. There are many things packed into this small addition that will benet patient care. ! The church sent the funds and we used local contractors to build the building. With the major part of the construction done, a team from the church came and nished the project. They installed sinks, painted, put in windows, ceilings, lights, and the like. ! The nurses, as you can see, are very excited to have this additional area that, by the way, has a super view of the ocean! ! Glory be to God for His provision and thank you to the Word of God Lutheran Church for your dedication to this project.

Patience is a challenge
Some have said things about patience:
Patience, grasshopper," said Maia. "Good things come to those who wait." (Cassandra Clare) He that can have patience can have what he will. (Benjamin Franklin) Rivers know this: there is no hurry. We shall get there some day. (Winnie-the-Pooh) Patience is bitter, but its fruit is sweet. (Aristotle) Why is patience so important?" "Because it makes us pay attention. (Paulo Coelho) Those in the know look for the answers in the Truth. But those who wait on the LORD shall renew their strength; They shall mount up with wings like eagles, They shall run and not be weary, They shall walk and not faint. Isaiah 40:31 Why are we focused on Patience? Previously, we shared the need for a utility truck for the hospital and asked for donations. The Lord answered our prayers. The funds came and the deal was made with the truck dealership for the purchase. The hospital is a non-profit organization and is exempt from taxes. All is well except....... The Honduran government has issued a mandate for all non-profits to reapply for their status. Some of you have prayed about this because it is a huge deal not only for us but for other non-profits, like churches and missions. Meanwhile all major purchases, container shipments and other actions that require our non-profit status are put on hold. We now patiently wait for the government to review the documents before they re-issue our non-profit status. So to those who have donated to the truck fund, THANKS! Stand in faith with us that this trial will make us stronger while we follow the Lord of Lords and King of Kings.
