MARKET SURVEY REPORT Code: BBA551

Course

Objective: By the Market survey report the student is expected to learn about the market and analyze and suggest solutions of a live problem. The objective is to equip the student with the knowledge and actual functioning of the market problems faced by them for exploring feasible solutions and suggestions. Guidelines: During the course of training, the college will assign a problem/project to the student. The student, after the completion of survey will submit a report to the College/Institute, which will form part of fifth semester examination. The report should ordinarily be based on primary data. It should reflect in depth study of micro problem. Relevant tables and bibliography should support it. The average size of Report ordinarily will be 100 to 150 typed pages in standard font size (12) and double spacing. Three neatly typed and soft bound (paperback) copies of the report will be submitted to the College/Institute. The report will be typed in A-4 size paper. The report will be evaluated by internal and external examiner. It will carry total of 100 marks divided into written report of 50 marks by external examiner and presentation of 50 marks in front of a panel of at least three faculty members appointed by Director/ Principal of the college. The external marks will be awarded by the external examiner to be appointed by the examination division. Market survey report should be composed of the following sections: Content Title page (cover page) [as per the given format] College certificate Student declaration Acknowledgement Table of Contents [as per the given format] Introduction of the topic Company profile Objectives of the market survey report Literature Review Research Methodology Data Analysis/ Interpretation Findings of the study/ Conclusion Suggestions/ limitations References/ Bibliography Annexure- Questionnaire No. of pages 01 01 01 01 01 12-15 35- 40 01 15-20 02-04 12-15 01-02 01-02 01 02-03

College name (CMCA or TMIMT, Teerthanker Mahaveer University, Moradabad ) should be at the bottom (in the middle) of the report starting from the page table of contents. Market survey report must contain the page no. starting from the page table of contents. Total no. of respondent (sample size) should be minimum 50. Questionnaire should have no. of questions between 10 to 15 (multiple choice and close ended, open ended question should be avoided.) Market survey reports emphasis should be on comparative study. Market survey title/ topic will be given by concern faculty to assigned students.

All the filled questionnaire shall be submitted during the internal presentation and it will be randomly verified, if any of the questionnaire would found fake that report will be cancelled with immidiate effect. All the questionnaire should contain following demographic information Name of the respondent Residential/ office address (optional) Contact no. (optional) Age group of the respondant Education/ qualification Occupation Designation (if applicable)
