Definition of Market The Columbus Crew is a part of Major League Soccer. This league was formed in 1993 and continues to grow. Within three years 10 teams emerged and now there are a total of 19 teams. MLS popularity in the United States and Canada is not as prominent as overseas, but with correct measures it has the potential to become a top sport. With the right amount of media attention and by bringing in popular players it will flourish. With that said, it is important to gain fan among the youth. The Campus Crew program was developed to reach out to the youth and advertise the sport to them. Soccer is still foreign to a lot of people so that is why this program will help introduce it to them and therefore gain more awareness. It is also essential to creating a fun atmosphere especially to the college demographic, that way they will tell others and hopefully come back. By having promotions and offering discounts, will help in bringing them in.

(Or I could advertise with any other prizes) Post flyers around Westerville especially in downtown stores and then recreation center
