    view of Arabian sea purpouse : - performance of Indian folk music & drama - tata theatre: music and drama - godrej: dance - experimental: drama & films - art exhibitions & library (related to all Indian arts) site planning : the centre has 3 blgs on a 8acre site tata experimental and godrej little thetre acess points : 3 main access frm marine drive for vips frm backside leading to admin office 5. zoning : audi,theatres are placed right infront facing thr road - relaxed fumctions like academic block, meditation are placed on rear side which s calm & quiet. - after locating the main functions, a large central circulation zone is arrived 6. orientation: -more public areas are in the frontfacing of the road - relaxed functions @ rear side.

Tata theatre : -The entrance to the foyer is very striking with high ceiling canopy. - The entrance canopy project out by abt 20 meters beyond entrance. - The entrance has fully paneled glass opening whiah makes striking entrance nd gives view of sea, from inside. -Entrance is claded by malad stone -Entrance leads to grand foyer ii. experimental : entrance not striking as tata Entrance has notice boards exhibiting programmes and ads. Entrance leads to foyer which is common for both experimental as well as art gallery iii. Godrej:-Underground. -The dancing academy is the semi basement level -The entrance leads to carpeted foyer iv. little theatre : -entrance : not impressive

    TAT THEATRE -Foyer : long corridor with high ceiling -Foyer @ 2 level connected by large nd striking flight of steps frm upper level, one has view of sea frm 2 directions. -Foyer is fully carpeted, mirrors are provided to give a more specious and wider effect.

    -Structurally, the foyer @ 2 ends are separated on their own foundations and separated also frm auditorium by a gap filled with resilient material -Foyer @lower level leads to restaurant public toilets. -At lower foyer - fully carpeted with seating. One one side the foyer @ lower level opens into garden -Murals along the major portions of wall are provided. They depict Indian astrology,epics EXPERIMETAL -Entrance foyer common for experimenatal & art gallery - has glass windows all around. It has seating facility, booking office, snack counter, dirnkingwater facility and toilets. - has polished kotak flooring - leads on one side to experimental and art gallery on top GODREJ -Entrance foyer - glass window. -Foyer fully carpeted the foyer is small relatively, but the capacity being less, the foyer functions efficiently LITTLE THEATRE the entrance foyer may prove to be small for capacity
