    Quick Start Guide

    SwitchLinc 2-Wire Dimmer (RF) INSTEON Remote Control Dimmer - Model: 2474DWH
    Whats in the Box?

    SwitchLinc 2-Wire Dimmer Two (2) screws Slotted screwdriver Wire cutter/stripper

    Three (3) wire nuts

    ON/ Brighten

    Tools Needed

    Phillips screwdriver Voltage meter

    Setup LED

    OFF/ Dim

    Installing SwitchLinc
    1) 2) 3) 4) 5) 6) 7) At electrical panel, turn off circuit breaker(s) feeding wall box (verify that power is off) Remove wallplate, unscrew existing switch and gently pull out 1 Disconnect wires from switch After making sure the wires are not touching, turn breaker back on Use a voltage meter to identify the line, load and ground wires Turn breaker back off Connect wires as follows with wire nuts:
    Wall Box Wires Ground (bare copper, green wire or green screw) Load (light) Line (commonly black)

    Set

    SwitchLinc Wires Bare copper Red Black

    Mount SwitchLinc back into wall box, orienting the LED bar on left Turn breaker back on SwitchLinc LED bar and connected light/load will turn on 10) Test by tapping SwitchLinc on and off Connected light/load will turn on and off 11) Reinstall the wallplate

    Making SwitchLinc an INSTEON Responder


    1) Press and hold controller button until it beeps Controller LED will start blinking 2) Tap SwitchLinc on Connected light/load will turn on 3) Press and hold SwitchLincs Set button until it double-beeps Controller LED will stop blinking and unit will double-beep 4) Confirm link by tapping controllers button on and off Connected light/load will turn on and off

    If the wires cannot be detached by unscrewing them, cut the wires where they enter the switch, then strip of insulation off the ends
