Objectives of the Course


The main objectives of the course are to expose students to contending theoretical approaches to Microfinance and their applicability in Bangladesh; and ensure that students develop a working knowledge on Microfinance operation in Bangladesh. We will emphasize the development of problem-solving skills based on a good understanding of the Microfinance environment. Because of the practical importance of the material and as an illustration of the relevant theory, we will discuss examples and cases.
