Yangmingshan is Taipeis well-known backyard. As spring approaches, cherry blossoms, peach blossoms and azaleas bloom resplendently all over the mountains, making the Flower Festival a great annual tourism event. As Zhuzihus calla lilies blossom, visitors wend their way amongst the flowers. The post-volcanic geography has also created other magnificent scenes, such as hot springs, sulfur vents, cold water pits, etc.
