Arabic Alphabet & Basic-Sounds

WERE ENGLISH.

Tutorial 1

IF

ENGLISH, ALL THE TIME, WAS PRINTED IN UPPER CASE LETTERS ONLY, ITS STUDENTS TO LEARN ONLY 26 SYMBOLS, INSTEAD OF 52 SYMBOLS, TO READ ALL MATTER PRINTED IN

*1. Arabic is read and recited from right to left.

Arabic, all the time, was printed in Single Case or Single Symbol representation for Arabic letters, its students were to learn only 30 symbols, instead of over 100 symbols, to read or recite all matter printed in such Arabic. Easy Recite Arabic System prints all Arabic matter, using only one symbol per letter. Each symbol is custom designed, developed and tested as a distinct and recitation friendly in its appearance and more convenient and functional in utility. It is suitable at all four locations in a word: a) the first, b) the in-between, c)the last letter in a word or d) just by it self letter. Generally, ERA System links the letters in each word, creating a consistent traditional flow. If required, ERA System creates a disjointed text script, like the one in Latin, Roman or English. Readers, proficient on traditional scripts, can easily master 30 symbols in ERA System. They can read ERA text very easily. Conversely, the readers of ERA System, as and when they try, can pick up reading on the traditional scripts. Till then, ERA readers have the relief, comfort and luxury to work with only one symbol, instead of 3, 4 or 5 symbols, for each alphabet. ERA System, working with 30 alphabet symbols, is a sincere comfort to most Non Arab seniors, adults, children, new Muslims and especially those, who are not (forthwith) interested in learning Arabic, as a first or second language. As a fast track tool, ERA System is far more friendly and efficient system, to learn and teach fluent and better recitation of Arabic Holy Quran, than all Arabic and non-Arabic scripts. In Tutorial 1, students learn basic-sounds or phonetic keys of Arabic Alphabetic Symbols or Letters, in association with phonetically similar English letters, given with each Arabic Symbol, except for three letters, which carry Arabic names. *2. Each symbol, large or small, black or green, holds a basic-sound or a phonetic key. The Hollow symbols hold no sound and they work as Silent Letters. Just ignore them! Under guidance of a suitable teacher / Qari, students learn and practice basic-sounds of all Arabic Symbols. Example: ba, bay, be, bo or baa, bay, bee, boo. Not all Arabic names, yet. ----------------------After the Lesson, the students should be able to recall and pronounce fairly accurately, the basic sounds of all Arabic symbols.
