GOTHONG MEMORIAL NATIONAL HIGH SCHOOL C. Padilla St. Cebu City GUIDELINES ON INCENTIVE AND REWARD SYSTEM FOR TEACHERS 1. In line with the Revised Policies on Employees Suggestions and Incentive Awards System(ESIAS) provided under CSC Resolution No. 010112 and CSC MC No. 01, S.2001, the Department of Education adopts the herein Program on Awards and Incentives for Service Excellence( PRAISE) to be referred to as DepEd PRAISE , is totally recognized by the SGC of Cebu City Don Carlos A. Gothong Memorial National High School as the highest form of award for Teachers given or conferred to by the Department of Education itself. Please see attached copy as basis of criteria for Teachers aiming to receive and interested to know the Type of Awards and Incentives the Department Of Education has to offer and continually conferred to teachers who deserve to any type of awards. 2. Thus, the School Governing Council of CCDCAGMNHS also initiates its own incentive and award in school level to teachers and non- teaching personnel who have shown exemplary acts and services to the school and in public interest as follows: 2.1 Best Employee Award as : (To teachers/individuals who excelled among peers in a functional group, position or profession through his or her dedication to duty, rendered services without counting the time or beyond the call of duty and during exigency of service at all times or most of the time). 2.1.1 Best Coach in Math, Science or Sports ,etc.-a winning Coach in Division level or higher competition bringing the name of the school. 2.1.2 Best Utility Worker Who does his or her work regularly and efficiently. 2.1.3 Best Master Teacher- Conducted Mentoring to teachers, Rendered services beyond the call of duty and Served as School ,District or Division Demonstrator. 2.1.4 Best Teacher- With no or with the least number of students with failure grades given in two consecutive grading periods. 2.1.5 Best Adviser by Year level- With good Classroom structuring, maintain the orderliness and cleanliness of the

classroom and its lobby and with potted plants in and outside the classroom. 2.2 Star Action Award- Given to teachers who are commended for their courtesy, promptness, efficiency and dedication to duty with no or with the least number of tardiness or absences. 2.3 Loyalty Award To teachers who served continuously and satisfactorily in school in the following category: 2.3.1 Bronze loyalty award- 10 and 15 years in service 2.3.2 Silver loyalty award 20 and 25 years in service 2.3.3 Gold Loyalty award- 30,35 and 40 years in service 2.4 Service Award- conferred on retirees either in optional or compulsory retirement. 3. The awards and incentives shall be in a form of certificates, plaque of recognition, trophies, material or monetary incentives based on budgetary allocation or fiscal availability. 4. Recognition of Teachers and giving of awards shall be conferred to once in a current school year specifically on Teachers Day Local /School Celebration during the month of December. 5. The awards and incentives must be based on records observed and checked by the administrators and staff.
