Description
The 2745 Rhino advanced ad-hoc networking system is a revolutionary non line-of-sight wireless system suitable for civilian and emergency services use. The system self adapts and routes data around a mesh network and provides instant data routing at different nodes. The system is based completely on IP, and unlike other Wi-Fi based systems, Rhino operates in the L band frequency range. Each node or independent Rhino module consists of a single transceiver. A number of nodes can be linked together under a network umbrella. Each Rhino unit has 15 RF channels with 5 non overlapping enabling 5 wireless networks operating in the same band to be operated concurrently in the same area. Each Rhino node handles data, authentication, transmission and reception without any inputs from an operator. This makes the system ideal for vehicle mounted applications.
The system can also be deployed in Shopping Malls, Airports, Hospitals and Hotels to provide wire free connectivity and integration with other IP services like internet and video on demand. Multiple independent networks can be linked together using simple routers to create master networks. Units can be left unattended or solar powered and enabled remotely. Rhino can be customised depending on application, size constraints, power consumption, efficiency etc.
