    READING: Story Title:

    A Glance at Whitley Citys Weekly Targets...


    -I can write a thoughtful literary response with details from the story. MATH: LANGUAGE ARTS: -I have learned new vocabulary and can use it in my writing and speaking. -I can analyze text structure -I understand past-tense verbs and commas. -I can read fluently. -I understand authors purpose. -I will explore congruence, counting and decimals. -I will learn about polyhedrons. SCIENCE: --I will learn about the screw and how it is a modified inclined plane. -I can name the 6 simple machines. -I can explainthe tradeoff when using a screw. -I can work cooperatively with a partner.. SPELLING: -I can spell my words within my writing correctly. SOCIAL STUDIES: -I understand concepts about old and new communities. -I learn about the Native Americans from many communities. -Social Studies study guide will go home Wednesday for the test on 2-22.

    Valentines August 24: Day 2-14 First Day of passing out Students will be their Valentines during the School! party. Students are asked to make one for each person in our classroom. :) PLEASE SEND A SHOE BOX!
