    We are looking for volunteers to help: 1 hour 2 days a week for 3 months We provide one-on-one tutoring for children who need help with reading.
    4 Reasons Children Fall Behind:
    1. They cannot read. 2. Their parents don t know how to help. 3. They start school unprepared. 4. They don t eat right or get adequate physical activity.

    Reading and Beyond is an organization dedicated to improving the academic success of children in Fresno County. We work with children and families, form the child s birth through high school, giving them the tools they need to be successful. We do this through programs that prepare children to begin kindergarten, tutor school age children to grade level in reading, teach parents how to support their children in school, and . help families develop healthy lifestyle habits.

    We ask that you commit: 1 hour 2 days a week for 3 months

     Hope Lutheran Church (Fresno and Barstow)  Wesley Methodist Church (Barstow between First and Cedar)  Mosqueda Center (Maple and Butler)  Einstein Park (Near Dakota and Millbrook)
