Calcium Gluconate infusion guideline for use in CRRT (Continuous Renal Replacement Therapy)

Calcium chloride 1gm/10ml/13.6 meq elemental Ca

Below is a conversion table for calcium chloride standard infusion to calcium gluconate infusion. General
recommendations for use with Trisodium citrate is to start at 25ml/hr and titrate to ionized calcium goal of
1.15 – 1.29 mmol/L. Check ionized Ca levels every 6 hours per protocol.
