    BELIEFS Wedding gifts/presents to new couples The bride/groom must not travelled long drives/travel. There must be throwing of confetti at the newlyweds. Beliefs before the arrivalof the wedding. The wedding candles must not be blown out. Breaking something during the reception brings good luck. The one who catches the flower will soon be married. Bride must not wear pearls in the wedding. The groom must first arrive at the church. The wedding should be planned in the new moon. Singing in front of the stove.

    PRACTICES -Giving an arinola as a wedding gifts. -Giving knives and other sharp or pointed object as wedding gifts. Couples are staying at their own houses before the wedding. They combine rice, flower and coins as confetti to the couples. Brides should not wear their wedding dress before the wedding day. They give care to the candle to prevent from blowing out. They break ribbons before entering in the reception or slicing the wedding cakes. The bride throws the bouquet after the wedding. Instead of pearl, the bride use accessories made of gold or silver. Sometimes, they are on the same car to go to church. Today, there is no secific time or date of edding. Single woman should not practice singing in front of stove.

    MEANING It is believed to bring good luck charm to newlyweds/couples. They should not travelled long distance because wedding is an accidentprone date. This will bring prosperity in all their life. It means that the wedding will not push through if it will happen. This signs death to one of the couples. It means good luck to the newlyweds. It means that the one who vcatches the flower bouquet will soon be married. The bride will experience heartaches and tears. This will bring bad luck to the newlyweds. It means that if it doesnt do, the plans will not pushed through. The single woman will marry a widower.
