    August 22, 2011 Dear 4th and 5th Grade Students and Parents, It is time to think about signing

    up for the Patterson School Chorus!! Our rehearsals will be held on Tuesdays before school, from 7:50-8:50 a.m., beginning Tuesday, September 20. The group will meet and rehearse in the multi-purpose room. Students are encouraged to carpool to rehearsals. Drop-off is at Door #2 (down by the gym). The building will open for students beginning at 7:40 a.m. Chorus is open to all students in fourth and fifth grade. We are hoping for an excellent turnout this year!! Our concerts are scheduled for the following dates: Wednesday, December 7 - 6:30 p.m. at Patterson School Tuesday, April 24 - 6:30 p.m. at Patterson School Saturday, May 19 (time TBA Fine Arts Festival at Neuqua Valley High School) Commitment is very important to the success of the group. Students should try to attend all rehearsals and performances. If a student needs to miss a rehearsal or performance please let me know ahead of time, if possible. Just send a note, call (630-428-6542) or drop me an email ([email protected]). I am looking forward to a great year with the Patterson School Chorus. Please complete and return just the bottom portion of this letter to school no later than Friday, September 16. This information will be helpful to me as I plan for our rehearsals. In addition, you are invited to attend an informational meeting at Neuqua Valley High School on August 24th at 6:00 p.m. where you will learn more about the many performance opportunities offered to students in Grades 4-12 in our school district. Details are attached. Many thanks in advance for supporting our musical efforts here at Patterson and in IPSD 204!
