The document provides guidance for daily prayers over meals and family dinners, suggesting setting an extra place for Jesus and imagining having a conversation with him. It also encourages memorizing a Bible verse from Psalm 145:18 and practicing it while traveling. Finally, it discusses inviting someone to dinner who doesn't know Jesus in order to share the Easter story and message of forgiveness with them.

Anytime you eat today, remember to thank
Jesus for the food. Also, remember to
thank Jesus for giving us life.

When you eat a family meal, set an extra
place at the table for Jesus. Imagine Jesus talking with you and listening to you. What questions would you like to ask Him? How do you think He feels being with you? Do you feel any different as you picture Jesus with you?
Practice your memory verse each time
you are on the road. You will find it in Psalm 145:18. Remember that the Lord is always near you! We will continue to explore the events leading up to Jesus’ death and resurrection. Next week we will discuss Peter’s denial of Jesus and the theme of forgiveness. Read Matthew 26:47-56; 69-75 to learn more about what happened with Peter.
Jesus ate dinner with His friends. Could
you invite someone to dinner this week? You might consider inviting someone who doesn’t know Jesus. You could share the Easter story and the events that led up to Easter. Remember to let the person know he or she is forgiven and loved by God!
