Some methodologies and tools

Social Bookmarking

Social bookmarking is a method for Internet users to organize, store, manage and
search for bookmarks of resources online. Unlike file sharing, the resources
themselves aren't shared, merely bookmarks that reference them.

Descriptions may be added to these bookmarks in the form of metadata, so users

may understand the content of the resource without first needing to download it
for themselves. Such descriptions may be free text comments, votes in favour of
or against its quality, or tags that collectively or collaboratively become a
folksonomy. Folksonomy is also called social tagging, "the process by which
many users add metadata in the form of keywords to shared content".

Social Networking

A social network service is an online service, platform, or site that focuses on

building and reflecting of social networks or social relations among people, e.g.,
who share interests and/or activities. A social network service essentially
consists of a representation of each user (often a profile), his/her social links,
and a variety of additional services. Most social network services are web based
and provide means for users to interact over the internet, such as e-mail and
instant messaging. Although online community services are sometimes
considered as a social network service. In a broader sense, social network
service usually means an individual-centered service whereas online community
services are group-centered. Social networking sites allow users to share ideas,
activities, events, and interests within their individual networks.

Microblogging is a broadcast medium in the form of blogging. A microblog differs

from a traditional blog in that its content is typically much smaller, in both actual
size and aggregate file size. A microblog entry could consist of nothing but a
