Rules and Regulations for Posters/ Painting

Competition
1. Poster and Painting Competition, will be conducted under three
categories:
Category 1 : Faculties and Staff members
Category 2 : All Students and Research Scholars
Category 3 : Children of Faculties and Staff members (above10
and below 15)
Category 4: Children of Faculties and Staff Members (below 10
years old)
2. All the posters / paintings need to be displayed on day 2, (01-Sep2015) by 9:00 AM in
Venues decided by schools. All posters need to be made prior to
9:00 AM. Kids of faculty and staff can make the posters in their
home.
3. Posters / paintings could be done individually or as a team of
participants not exceeding 3.
4. Size of the poster/ painting should not be less than A3 size.
5. Material is not a constraint however it can be as creative as possible
and multiple posters/ paintings are encouraged.
6. Theme relating to Water Conservation has to be clearly depicted.
7. More weightage be given to creative representation.
8. Participation certificates will be issued to all the participants.
9. Best 5 posters / paintings under each category summing up to a total
of 20 from each school, will be selected by the school level committee
in their decided venues and the concerned Faculty Coordinators will
finally hand it over to the University level Judging Panel before 2 PM in
GDN 142 on the same day (01-Sep-2015).

Finally 3 best posters/ paintings under each category, will be
selected by the University level judges for 1 st , 2nd and 3rd places and
will be awarded with mementos worth of Rs.1000/-, Rs.750/- and
Rs.500/- respectively.

Judging parameters for the best Posters / Paintings


1. Type of material used for posting /painting.
2. Creativity involved making and presentation of a poster / painting.
3. For multiple posters /paintings by an individual/ a team, only ONE best
should be selected so as to avoid multiple wins by an individual/ a
team. This applies to all the categories.
