STAAD.Pro is the structural engineering professionals choice for
steel, concrete, timber, aluminum, and cold-formed steel design of
virtually any structure including culverts, petrochemical plants,
tunnels, bridges, piles, and much more through its flexible
modeling
environment,
advanced
features,
and
fluent
data
collaboration.
STAAD.Pro allows structural engineers to analyze and design
virtually any type of structure through its flexible modeling
environment, advanced features and fluent data collaboration.
STAAD or (STAAD.Pro) is a structural analysis and design computer
program originally developed by Research Engineers International
at Yorba Linda, CA in year 1997
STRUCTURE is defined as a system of interconnected members
assembled in a stable configuration and used to support a load or
combination of loads. The load can have vertical or later effects
on the structural components.
The loads acting on the structures can be divided into following
categories:
Dead loads, Live loads, Fluid loads, Wind loads, Snow loads,
Earthquake loads, Thermal Loads, Earth pressure loads
