Behavior management
Observe and record strategies used by the teacher to
manage students behavior.
Strategies used by
teacher

What children did

How useful it was

Use Facial Expressions:

Example: see the
children in angry face.

The children
immediately are silent
and waiting for the
teacher to talk.

I think that this strategy

helps teachers to
manage behaviors in
the classroom and it is
work to make students
continue the good
behaviors and stop the
bad behaviors.
According to Skinner
theory, the reinforced
behavior occur again.
However, punished
behavior will stop.

Counting to 10:
The teacher count to ten
at the begging of the
lesson

The children start to

count with the teacher
after number 10 they
stop talking.

I think it useful to get

the childrens attention
and it's an effective
strategy to keep the
class
silent
and
prepared for the lesson
directly with no talking
or disruption.

Reward good work:

the teacher reward the
students who did good
work

They felt happy and

proud about what they
have done and they do
their best to do another
good work.

I think it good strategy

to motivate her
students doing their
best.

1 Did the teacher maintain good order in the class? How did she
do this?
Yes, she maintains good order by start telling the children what they
will take during the day for example; first, they will do the reading
activity.
2 Is the teacher clear and consistent in establishing rules and
expectations regarding behavior?
The teacher not so much Strict but when she have to punish the
children she punishes them.
3 Which of these strategies would you use/not use? Why?
Reward good work because this strategy will help me to control of the
children in the classroom.
4 Was there anything that could have been done differently?
I will not use the facial expressions because if I see the children in a
anger face the child will sill feel san during the lesson.
5 What surprised you?
What surprised me when the teacher read a story to the children
she let the children sit on her leg to let the children feel that the
teacher like them mother.
6 What shocked you?
The teachers have to buy the material that they need to use it in their
lesson.
7 What delighted you?
The children say the food prayer before they eat even the teacher
doesn't their so that mean they accustomed to the routine.
