    RATIONALE
    In Appendix I, Figure 4(c), the sketch for the suggested end preparation for pipe and fittings over 7/8-in
    thickness, the callout for the pipe wall thickness of the land is shown as 1/6-in. 1/32-in. This is incorrect. It
    should be 1/16-in 1/32-in. This was incorrectly put into the Code when this sketch was originally published
    in the 1992 Edition of the Code.

    (1) Underline and blue indicates revised and new text.


    (2) Strikethrough and red indicates deleted text
