Objectives were posted on the board


Very good introduction to the lesson connecting previous
lesson to present lesson.
Key terms were explained as questions were being asked.
Very good questioning techniques.
Very good preparation with all materials were prepared
and the students were able to fully engaged into the
activity.
Students were fully engaged into the lesson and their work
were valued. They had an opportunity to communicate
with each other in their groups as well as the entire class.
Various activities were used.
The plant booklet is an excellent ideas. The parents would
love to see the booklet.

Science and Engineering Practice: What are some of the science
practices that are involved in this lesson. For example,
communicating result is a practice. Students did communicate
in your lesson. Additional practices include observation,
questioning, hypothesizing, investigating, inferring, etc.
All in all, lesson plan needed more details to fully understand
what the lesson will be about.
Provide help to struggling students. One student didnt do any of
The work and she was totally ignored till the last 4 minutes of class.

General Comments: A very good lesson where the objective was met through various activities and questioning.
Students were fully engaged and they loved all of the activities as evidence of their engagement and their work.
